Hmmm.... alright, so far I'm not digging on PRWF. These new writers need to buck up.

I mean I know traditionally the first season's questionable, but this is really going slow.

And Time Force, Lightspeed Rescue, Lost Galaxy and In Space were clearly geared closer to an older audience.... Wild Force is looking really kiddie to me so far.

Thank the Matrix for the coming Power Rangers Theatre and the re-airing of the show stopping Power Rangers Time Force.

Any thoughts from anyone else?

I mean, seeing episodes like this is making me like Sentai (http://www.classichero.com) more and more...

These villians can't act. The red ranger and yellow ranger might become lovers before the season is over. The acting and writing is improving except the villians. I can't wait till sunday.

Villians are getting alot better. Especially, Toxica... didn't seem like she knew what she was doing at first. Now she's pretty much a natural.

And did she drop a hint? Is she Alyssa's sister?

Personally...I think they should either can the show or give it a remake starting with the mighty morphing ranger and staying with them, changing members out occasionally would be fine but after the first movie I just didn't like the show....

Like I said before....

<<set's record playing....>>

Yeah, I almost stopped watching around the time when the Rangers got turned into kids and Bulk and Skull were monkeys.

On a mission to punish myself, I kept watching.

In Space was the best stuff in terms of quality, style, production and directing Power Rangers has ever seen.

I don't miss the old cast.. they had their time. I much prefer the changing cast, because each season is an actual developing story being told. Instead of just changing costumes just to be changing costumes like they did in the old days. That got old and obnoxious.

Anyway, ABC Family is going to be re-running Power Rangers Time Force, which is the final opus of the team of writers that made Rangers worth watching again.

I highly recommend it.

And for you sticklers who prefer old school were plots made less sense, and the budget was about a tenth of what it is now.... ABC Family will be airing Power Ranger's Theatre, which will run through all of the seasons from start to finish!

I can't wait! I still gotta get some Power Rangers in Space episodes on tape.

Not to mention the airing of the Death of Zordon (http://www.rangercentral.com/episodes/ep0001/episode.htm) in Countdown to Destruction. (http://www.rangercentral.com/episodes/ep0002/episode.htm)

Hi!!! I thought I'd crawl out from under my stacks of books and papers I'm reading and writing for school to post a note or two. Obviously, a Power Rangers thread grabbed my attention first :D .

I almost forgot that the new ABC Family blocks are starting this weekend until I saw a rerun of Flint (ironic that it was the Cardians episodes) and saw the adequate commerical they have for it. I'm dissappointed that they decided not to run Iron Man, but I'd probably never get to watch it anyway if they did because I have to record Fox Kids during its final days.

I read a while ago that they are not playing ALL the episodes of the other PR series, but rather playing "the best of" type of thing. This does not please me too much, as I like a vast majority of the episodes for one reason or another, and there will be some that I want to see, but will not, but at least I'll get to see some past MMPR's 1st season, which was promised with Power Playback, but was never delivered. Hopefully, they'll play the Alien Rangers saga :)

And since I probably won't be able to post again for a long time, I'll just say a couple of things on the current state of my tv viewing. Forgive me if some things are off topic in this forum:

1. I love Adult Swim Action. Funimation should be commended for their job on YYH. PC needs some work, but I love robots any way I can get them, so I don't mind. Cowboy Bebop didn't impress me the way it did most other's but it's entertaining enough for one runthrough for me.

2. I saw the end DBZ. Great. Funimation definately has come a long way from it's beginnings. Now if Telemundo would get off their butts and show the rest of the Cell Saga.....

3. Dragonball is funny. I can see why it endeared itself with the japanese (and american) audience the way it did. And I'm surprised and glad that so much has been left in, from the original music to the potty and porno humor.

4. There's really no need for me to watch the original AS now, except for an occasional Space Ghost. I was not into the humor parts of the block. I hope it doesn't go away though.

5. Power Rangers Wildforce is lackluster so far. Perhaps things will pick up once the other Power Animals, or other zords, are introduced. Though there is one thing I can say good about the show so far.....the new pink/white ranger girl is cute
