Great review! Ever since I saw the Nostalgia Critic's Animaniacs video last week, I've gotten back into the show and plan to get the three DVD sets when I get the money just for the Warner siblings and Slappy parts.

EDIT: By the way, are volumes 1 and 2 still in print?

Nice DVD review, I used to love watching Animaniacs and other Kids WB cartoon adventures. I'm glad they are slowly releasing them in DVD, but who has the money to buy all those sets?

I'll wait until prices go down.

I love this show, am planning on buying it after I finish getting Darkwing Duck on dvd.

It's true, compared to the Disney show dvds (Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Tailspin, Rescue Rangers...all of them are in the $25.00 range) these WB cartoon sets are pretty pricey from what I've seen (most in the $30.00-$40.00 range).

However, these gems from my childhood are well worth it...since they are still just as great as they were when I was a kid (unlike other childhood favorites that have disappointed me with recent reviewings...like Power Ranger and the 80's TMNT toon)!

Amazon.com sells the first three Animaniacs dvd sets as a set for only $93.00...cheaper than getting them one by one.

I already own Volumes 1-3, no complaints here.

(Except that I'm still waiting for Vol. 4, that is......)

I just watched Nostalgia Critic's Animaniacs video...and then went on to watch almost all of his other reviews. This guy is a riot! His review of the Cartoon All-Stars video had me rolling on the floor laughing! As for Animaniacs, I can't wait to get the dvds!Speaking of...when are they gonna put "Wakko's Wish" on dvd? After they finish releasing the show?

Well, there's a good reason why the Silver-AGe WB series DVD releases cost more than the Disney Afternoon sets do. The Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain sets come with actual bonus features inside them, while the DA sets currently doesn't.
