My grandfather died this afternoon, while I was in school. :( :( :( my grandmom nor my mother was with him when he passed, unfortuneatley. I kind of expected it to happen, because grandpa had a lot of health problems, and the doctors did say he would die within the next few months, but for it to happen so prematurely and suddenly shocked me..and I cried for about five whole minutes.
He was an 82-year-old WWII veteran, and a very nice man. I'll miss him, but fortuneatley I DO have a lot of happy memories of my time spent with him.

Also, that was a nice thing to say, Dr. Belch... (can't help not to laugh at that username).

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Andrew. I'm glad you have happy memories of him, those will last a long time, trust me. I've lost two grandfathers (one died at about that same age) and I'll always remember some of the things we did together. I'll keep you in my prayers also.

I'm am sorry to. But, I doubt he's only hangin' out with Chuck Jones. He's partying with ALL of the greats. Hey, maybe your grandfather and Pete's (foley is good) grandmother have met. They're probably chatting aways talkin' about what cool grandsons they have...

Thanks for your sympathy, everyone. I appreciate it.
Well, I guess life goes on without him. Grandma is alive and well, and taking the loss well.
That's an interesting thought, grandpa talking to Chuck Jones up there..though I'm not sure he knew any of the directors' names..if anybody, he's probably telling Edgar Allan Poe what a big fan I am. Considering Poe's numerous stories and poems about death, that's rather ironic.
Again, thanks for your sympathy. If anything like this happens to one of you, I'll pray for you too.
