Oh yes. Its a table, its storage for a ton of stuff, and as a controller it actually works. This guy made the whole thing by himself. Earlier posts on the blog explain how he did it.
Gotta give credit where it's due, that's one impressive piece of work.

It would be good if that controller worked like the one those guys on that one Attack of the Show ep did. They built a super-sized working NES controller.

Wow, that's very cool, and impressive. It takes a lot of talent to build something like that. It looks like it was made by an actual manufacturer.

Technically, if he made it big enough he could fit his tv box into the memory card slot and play it like that.

Wow, he must have a lot of time on his hands. I would loved to have a coffee table like that. :)
This reminds of this article from the May 2008 issue of Nintendo Power in which a black smith actually made a replica of Link's Master Sword made from real metal and stuff.
