In all this debate, about hasbro being stupid and repaints, and License costs and infringements......
Is it really impossible for hasbro to get the exclusive rights to just the JL Animated versions of DC Characters, and DC Direct can go on making Comic versions of DC characters? Im aware that technically comic books are animated images/versions but we can all tell the differece between the Bruce Timm animated style and comic style drawings so why cant the lawyers? I think DC should sell the animated JL Universe rights to Hasbro at a reasonable cost so we can all get some freakin toys already!

PS. Maybe the toy designs could be Bruce Timm approved, and therefore prevent lees stupid repaints.

that would be a good idea if they just got the license for the jl animated style. can that be done though?
