<a href="http://www.comicon.com/newsarama">Comic Newsarama</a> reports that Matt Wagner will be returning to Gotham City after as long hiatus. Wagner's last Batman work, the Legends of the Dark Knight collection Faces, is still in print.
Green Arrow cover artist Matt Wagner revealed more information about his upcoming project at DC, a three-issue prestige format miniseries chronicling Wonder Woman’s first meeting (in current continuity) with both Batman and Superman. Wagner will both write and draw the miniseries, the title of which is yet to be decided.
“The main high concept is that I've been wanting to do a longish project with DC for some time now,” Wagner told <a href="http://www.comicon.com/newsarama">Comic Newsarama</a> . “If you look at my publishing resume, a nice phatty book done with some the best established characters is the only thing missing. I mean, the last book of mine that DC keeps in print is Faces and that's only half the length of this project. And I've always gravitated towards stories and narratives that deal with defining moments.”
