The SmackDown title picture is unclear after General Manager Vickie Guerrero stripped The Undertaker of the World Championship after his use and the lack of remorse from using his "chokehold" finisher. What will happen to the title now?

Now that SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero has stripped Undertaker of the World Heavyweight Championship, when and where will the next champion be crowned? Will The Deadman be looking to reclaim his title as soon as possible? Will Edge try to leverage his relationship with the GM to get his hands on the gold once again? Or, will another Superstar step up and try to claim the title?

When Shawn Michaels defeated Batista at Backlash, he finally silenced one of his toughest critics. Or did he? After Chris Jericho’s recent Highlight Reel – where Y2J accused HBK of faking his injury at Backlash – Batista vowed to hurt HBK if he isn’t truly injured. Will Batista keep his word?

When Big Show demolished The Great Khali at Backlash, he took down one of WWE’s biggest Superstars. Last week on SmackDown, The World’s Largest Athlete had a staredown with the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry that ended with Big Show calling for Henry to pick on someone his own size. What will happen the next time these two behemoths encounter each other?

On last week’s Championship Friday edition of SmackDown, the WWE Tag Team Champions defended their title. But, with all the talk they’re doing in the Dirt Sheet, how long before they tick off the wrong person?

Also on Championship Friday, Matt Hardy retained his United States gold against Montel Vontavious Porter. MVP held onto the title for almost a year. How long can Hardy?

As Judgment Day approaches, find out the answers to these questions and more on Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 CT on The CW Network.

Batista/Morrison was very good. A much better and competitve match than I thought. Finley/MVP was very good too. I hope they keep this Finley and not the comedic Finley that's been with Hornswoggle as of late.

Not much else to say. Decent show due to the championship chase matches. Hopefully Batista doesn't get another title shot as him wrestling for the title has been done to death.

That they crammed 8 matches into this show was icing on the cake. Tie for match of the night between Finlay-MVP and Morrison-Batista.

Much as I enjoyed the matches leading to the main event, the right thing to do would've been to put all 10, plus Edge, in the battle royal. The last minute swerve to screw the face over was last done in a tournament over in ECW just a few months ago, when Big Daddy V was added to the tournament at the end.

That having been said, it's way past time to give Teddy Long the initiative to get his rightful job back. Vicki has abused the GM's office way too long, but until they plan the "wedding" of her & Edge, this abuse will continue seemingly unabated. That's just lazy, piss-poor planning by the Smackdown creative team, which doesn't have a real leader at the moment.

I had to tape Smackdown because I went to a Ring Of Honor show. Just wanted to point that out. :D

Anyway, about the show...

The end result just makes me hate the whole Title Strip thing even more. It was all just to get yet another Edge/Taker match? Lame. All they had to do was "Taker/Edge: If Taker Used the Choke, He Looses The Title." How friggin' hard is that? Instead you have to devalue the World Title even more.

I wonder why I even watch anymore.

I'm going to a Ring of Honor show tomorrow, so I guess I'll miss... uh... the replay of Impact?

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much offense Morrison got in. I thought Dave would squish him good, which would've had me unleash all kinds of silly rage on the internet, but no, they actually had Johnny dominate most of the way and made him look good.

There goes the WWE recycling plots again. It's the same feud as the one from 2006 with Edge/Cena. If Taker does go to Raw (a big if), he should put Vickie in that Choke Hold that she claims is "illegal" first.

That last minute swerve at the end was absolute bulls#%t, and negated the entire point of doing those matches throughout the entire show to begin with.

I had that so-called swerve called the second Vickie said Edge wasn't going to be involved in the Championship Chase and I watching the show at 1 a.m. after a long week.

The Chase matches were all pretty good save for poor Tommy Dreamer getting thrown around by Big Show. My favorite was Morrison-Batista. I'm a fan of Morrison and was thrilled to see him gain an early advantage and really hold his own against The Animal. And I liked the call to put both MVP and Finlay in the battle royal.

It was great seeing the show with such a strong focus, but it left little time for anything else. I did enjoy watching Natalya Neidhart throwing Kelly Kelly around though. When Kelly came out I thought for sure she was facing Layla so it was a nice surprise.
