Pilot Candidate Does Not Belong On ASA

I know many of you thought the same.

To me it was like a really ugly mix of Digimon, Sailor Moon, and Zoids (I want to say Gundam too, but this show does not deserve that). Just awful. The thing wasn't even re-edited. If it was, then the show has nothing to edit, and it does not belong on ASA.

It may be short, but Toonami should have gotten this. Give ASA some Big-O. Edited, or not, it is better then that show.

I liked Gundam & YuYu though. Bebop is always great :). Hope the edits are low on the former.

Oi. You started a thread just to say what you could have said in one of the other ten? Everybody just stop *****ing. Anything that breaks CN's current mold is helpful to the whole. Ok Sailor Moon isn't bad, but I just added Sailor Moon because the opening intro look so much like some Sailor Moon rip-off at some points.

Still you guys have to admit that this show shouldn't be on this block. Gundam maybe edited down, but its still Gundam.

3 shows fit, and 3 don't. Hopefully William's Street can get more funding, or whatever is there problem. There really isn't any good reason to throw a block together like this.

Having 2 blocks to fill with good shows just makes it harder. Imagine if they just stuck with one block. We would have alot of great shows in 3 hours. I really hope WS can pull this off, and both blocks get great programming.

PC: uncut or butchered, it does not belong to AS at all. but didnt CN say that they will replace the 12-1 am block wtih mature anime? it may take some time though

It will take awhile. I am patient though. I only want to watch 3 shows on ASA right now.

I heard there were was a nude scene in PC, but yeah even Uncut PC does not belong.

PC could go almost uncut from what I saw.

Jeez, alot of you guys sure do hate PC. I know its not all that "mature", but in my opinion, (ITS NOT FACT!) just about anything remotely decent would be better than watching another episode of DBZ. God, am I the only one sick of that repetitive bash fest? And on the topic of the name "Adult Swim", they did it b/c the shows are not supposed to be viewed by little kids, not that any of the shows are really "mature". I think they figured its betterto call it that , than "13-17 year olds who love gore, cussing, nudity, and violence Swim" Although, thats just my opinion. :D

I am sick and tired of the PC bashing. The simple question I pose to you: have you seen every episode of it both cut and uncut, read all of the manga, and reveiwed it for both content and context? Once you do all of that, I will consider your opinion as an informed critic, until then, why don't you stop being redundant.

It could get better, but it just doesn't belong on ASA. I am not saying it "sucks", but it is just that it does not fit the block.

I know I've made my opinion on PC known, but I'll say it again... Just to be redundant...

The pilot dubbed/edited episode of PC that I saw on CN last Saturday was terrible. But, that was the pilot... Perhaps the next episodes are going to be better... So I will give it a couple more chances. If it doesn't shape up, then it should leave to Toonami.

Perhaps the uncut, sub-titled version is better.... And maybe the manga is good... I don't know, but I know this much: So far, the CN version of PC is pretty bad.

CN would be a better network if it hadn't had the hostile takeover. We wouldn't have so many edits, Kellner stinks. He's a total hippocrite and he uses the edits to try and kill CN slowly into KIDSWB24/7.

Actually, I forced myself to watch the entire episode... And the nightmares haven't stopped since.

Actually, I think you're the only one NOT being over-dramatic. Everybody just chill about PC. No need to get into a heated debate over it. Me, I didn't much care for the first pilot (or few episodes- I've seen the DVD), but I'll give it a chance.

I've seen 7 of the 11 eps sub-tiltled and uncut and in my opinion it's not much better (Zero is more annoying in the orginal).
As for the manga, I don't know but they probably should have waited for the major leg of the story to complete in the manga before they made the show.
