These questions are in the category of animated and comics. So, please if you know the answers, please post it here. Some of these questions are in both these categories, so please, if necessary, answer in 2 diff. ways, so it answers both categories.
Superman
(Ani and Comics) If he can hear everything that a normal human being can't hear, wouldn't he be going a little crazy? I mean, imagine all these noise going simultaneously. I'm sure that would annoy me a lot.
(Comics) What is this I hear about in Supes origin, he was an egg of some sort? Can someone explain his comic origin, like how he was sent, and how he was raised by the Kents?
(Ani and Comics) How is every single Kryptonian info on Earth? Was it sent there by a Kryptonian long before Kal's landing? Please explain this since I have no idea what this is about.
Batman
(Comics) Is Joker's origin in the Modern-Age still a mystery? I remember reading an old comic where Joker's origin was finally told. I'm pretty sure this is Pre-Crisis so I'm just asking this since I'm not sure what his origin is now.
(Ani and Comics) How did Robin get his name? Was it some sort of thing that he did that made Bats remind him of a robin? :p
(Ani and Comics) How did Nighwing get his name? Did he make it up out of nowhere, or does it have some sort of magnificence to his adventures?
(Comics) Did Nightwing change his costume for a reason? Or does he need to change it so he can catch up with the times? :p
Also, who made his costume?

Most of these are just thoughts, but...

lol. Good point. Perhaps he can turn it off/down when he wants?
(Ani and Comic)s How did Robin get his name? Was it some sort of thing that he did that made Bats remind him of a robin?
I don't know for sure- but I actually like the way it's explained in "Batman Forever". His dad claims he "swooped in like a robin" to save a member of the family. Who knows though.

Some attempts at answers:
The Hearing: Superman can control his super-hearing. There was an issue of Superman where he lost control of it due to a device created by Luthor. It was interesting.
The "Egg": Superman was sent to earth from Krypton in what they called a "Birthing Matrix". Essentially, Jor-El and Lara's respective sperm and egg were combined in that device, and Kal really wasn't born until he landed on Earth and the matrix cocoon opened. (On a side note, John Byrne originally planned to send a pregnant Lara to Earth. She would give birth to Kal and then die of Kryptonite poisoning in front of the Kents, giving them her newborn son. DC scrapped that, though)
Kryptonian Info: In the comics, Clark encountered a hologram of Jor-El, which taught him where he came from and what exactly he was. In the animated series, Clark knows about who he is based on the combined info of Brainiac's info globes and a small box which was sent with Kal in his ship.
Joker's Origin: It is generally accepted that The Joker's origin is that of having formerly been The Red Hood, a small-time crook. He was cornered by Batman and, in order to escape, dove into a vat of chemicals which turned his face...well, you know the rest. I honestly can't remember if that's official or not, but if I recall correctly, that's just the story that The Joker himself remembers. For more info, check out Batman: The Killing Joke by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland.
Robin's name: There's been so many interpretations of Robin's origin it isn't even funny. I don't think anybody really knows how he got the name Robin. Some say his parents called him a little robin. Other stories don't explain it at all. Truth is, I don't know which is right. File that under "unsolved mysteries".
Nightwing's name: Pre-Crisis, Dick Grayson came up with the name Nightwing after an identity that Superman used when he was in Kandor. He also says the "Night" portion was due to Batman's influence. Post-Crisis, Dick came up with the name from a story that Superman told him about a great hero from Krypton who called himself Nightwing. That and the same Batman influence.
Nightwing's costume: Nightwing has changed his costume twice. The first time was because Mirage (disguised as Starfire) made him change it, basically to get with the times. The second time was when Dick retired. He had to come out of retirement and when he got to the Batcave, Alfred told him that Harold had made him a new costume. Dick liked it so he kept it. 'Tis a good costume, too.
Them's yer answers. Back to bed :)

It's pretty much a mystery. In the Killing Joke, he remembers himself being a failed comedian and married with a kid on the way, so he offers to help the Red Hood gang with a robbery. His wife along with the baby die in a freak accident, but he's forced to go through with the plan anyway and winds up taking a chemical dive to escape Batman. When he looks at his reflection, he cracks. However, later on in the book he tells Batman that he's not sure about his past because every time he tries to think about it, he remembers it a different way.

He can turn certain parts of it off. But it's been addressed before that he often hears people screaming for help, etc, and has to make decisions not to help them. It would drive ME crazy.

Robin was supposed to be "A laughing young daredevil", a modern day ROBIN HOOD". But I also prefer the explanation given in Batman Forever.

(Ani and Comics) How did Robin get his name? Was it some sort of thing that he did that made Bats remind him of a robin?
Here what I have heard from the Internet...not sure if this is factual or just conjecture:
Dick received his Robin name from his mother. Dick's birthdate is supposedly the first day of spring, March 21. Spring is associated with robins. His mother called him 'my little Robin,' so his nickname in the family was Robin. After his parents died, he assumed that identity in honor of their memory. It would also explain why he was so stung when Jason/Tim got his name.
(Ani and Comics) How is every single Kryptonian info on Earth? Was it sent there by a Kryptonian long before Kal's landing? Please explain this since I have no idea what this is about.
In animation, Clark received some information as a teen when he activated the box that was in his ship. I'm not sure how much information was given to him overall, whether it was just a message from his parents or something more. He got those glowing orb thingies after defeating Braniac one time. Braniac aided in the destruction of Krypton so his information would be more valuable to the buyer. I haven't seen the Supes eps that covered this stuff since they were on WB, so correct me freely people.
