Have you ever had a crush on a female cartoon character? and if so, would you take them out on a date for one night? Feel free to pick any girl, and give your reasons why. Be it animated movies, TV shows, or anime.

Being female, I haven't had a crush on a cartoon female. I haven't had a crush on any cartoon characters period, so I doubt I'd date one, I watch cartoons but my imagination doesn't stretch to dating characters who have another dimensional existence.

I've had a major crush on Fifi La Fume from Tiny Toons for almost 8 years now. ( see avatar pic )
I think Shirley the Loon is kind of cute too.

Yeah, I know I'm sad...

I remember when i use to watch He-Man that i had a crush on Teela. It was there that i started to admire girls who can kick butt.

Daria Morgendorffer. Or Velma Dinkley from Scooby Doo. Something about understatedly pretty, cerebral girls with glasses do it to me....

::sigh:: I'm female, and I'm bleedin' pathetic about this. Lessee... numerous anime guys--especially Spike Speigel; Mick from Xyber 9; and now video game guys (take a guess--go on). Man, that's sad.

SM, early 20s, seeks beautiful, kind (I'm not wedded to this trait) AF for companionship, maybe more; preferably a) with red hair, or b) furry. Anime origin a plus. Inquire within.

Hmm.....being a female, I'd have to say either Spike, Jet, Vash, Eddy, or Gene Starwind. And no, no one is pathetic in here! XD

LOL! I had the same thing. Uh, of course I was like 5 at the time. Ahem. :p I guess I'm over THAT though.

Right now my TV crush (if animated, would be spread through the Batman community) is Smallville's Lana Lang. :D

Mind, I've never been "in love" with a cartoon character, but I must say that a great date would probably be Dot Warner, Pepper Mills (just don't take her to a Hanson concert), or Princess Toadstool (hey, she's animated, ain't she?)

Who is afarid of Roger Rabbit was a breakthrough movie, l987, or 88, I think. If you haven't seen it, please do. Not only is it a lot of fun, fast paced, and some great animation, there are some really interesting characters there. There is one scene, where Daffy Duck, and Donald Duck, are playing a piano duet...Jessica was an animation dream, and it was written at the time, that her costume, took a great deal of animiation effort...The whole movie took the most special effects, up to that time....AGAIN, IF YOU ARE NEW, AND HAVE NOT SEEN THIS ONE, PLEASE DO. "Who is afraid of Roger Rabbit was one of the only movies that Disney and Warner actually worked together on.....

I'm doubly pathetic 'cause I've been known to fall in love with my own made up characters :P

Seriously, when it comes to animated crushes, I've had a few in my time. Everything from Duo Maxwell (Gundam Wing) to Long in both human and Tiger form (Bloody Roar series) to Griff (Gargoyles-I dig Gryphons!) to Silverbolt (Beast Wars).

Told ya I'm pathetic :P

Galatea complex. I do it too. It doesn't help matters that a female character in my latest story is based on a young lady I think I'm having feelings for. I may send her a copy...probably the strangest method of seduction imaginable, writing...also good for revenge, but that's another story....

Recently, i had this big crush on Iria. She's tough, and cool at the same time. I could take her home with me if she saw my good side. I also like how she takes risks.

I'm a het girl, so I never had a crush on another girl, animated or otherwise, but I did love Sport One (from Bionic Six) for a longer time than I like to admit, and I have a huge thing for the cutie in my avatar. Though I think white hair in real life would be scary.

It was and still is a great film....so many animation in jokes, like the chase in toon land where the detective is going after someone he thinks is Jessica, and it turns out to be an ugly old lady, well that is a tribute to, or take off of, Red Hot Ridding Hood.

Does one shot movie count?

If so, my animated date (and real date) would be from the Hercules and Xena animated movie

Gabrielle (Renee O' Connor)

She can be tough and kick almost anybody's butt in a fight
She's attractive and has a heart.

Plus Renee is my favorite actress.
