I think the darker motif would work well on the AnyGen board, but keeping this one lighter really sets it apart from that board.

It's kinda weird going from grey and black to pastels. :D Although the avatars seem to stand out alot more than they did. However the blue like on the "Post Reply" bar and stuff seem to be a little too bright, could tone it down a little. ;)

Yeah, Romey fed me the wrong codes. That was fun, though, for a few minutes. :D

AnyGen is next up for a revision. We're toying with the idea of radical change there as well.

Seriously, the non-dark/rather contrasting colors are a nice throw-off from the usual dark/very similar colors on the other boards. ^^

I agree with Cal, on this one. The lighter tone sets it apart from AnyGen..which, right now, I think is important. Less confusion for many....
Also, darker isn't always better. An example: CNX...ever been to their message boards? Dark grey/Dark blue on black is really hard to read(at least for me). :p

Yes, I might say I really like the look of this! But, the logo could use some tweeking. The letters down show up to well, & that black trim is really...etchy. What can I say? Also, the pic on the left is really dark...all I see is a big black rectangle, with a yellow spot...hmmm?

Well, there is the TTTP, which has a nice bright look. If I go to the board when my lights are off, it usually hurts my eyes!
