help identifying 2 toons

Okay guys I need some help here.

(sorry for the extreme amounts of vagueness) It was a show that came on CBS (I think) Saturady mornings in around 1998 or 1999 and was about pirates. I only saw a little bit of it once
It was a movie/TV special that was on Disney (I think) and it was kind of a variaty thing. I only remember one part where a girl and her grandpa were going through the city and they got seperated. She made some comment like "Everyone looks the same" then she had a dream/vision that everyone looked like her grandpa.Any help is appreciated

I'm thinking the 1st one is either ABC's Pirates of Dark Water or FOX's Mad Jack the Pirate, but really, I would need more information to properly dientify it.

Out of the two you suggested I would have to say Mad Jack the Pirate because, according to Wikipedia, Pirates of Dark Water would have ended and be reruns on CN by 1998. Also I remember what I saw was suppose to be a funny show.
