What is your favorite Monty Python movie (if you've seen them all)?
I chose "Meaning of Life". "Holy Grail" is funnier, but I think "MOL" is a better movie.

I voted for Holy Grail. That's always been one of my favorites, ever since I first saw it. It just has so many hilarious moments. I need to pick up the DVD to check out all of the extras that they put on there.

There's a "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" movie that I didn't put on there. Any others?

I think that there's 5 Python movies, though there are others that several members worked on that aren't officially Python (Jabberwocky, Yellowbeard)

Oh, you need to pick up that puppy A.S.A.P!!!

Without a doubt Its one of the finest DVDs out there. The menus are all Gilliam-illustrated (complete with sound efffects) and the scene-selections put the sounds of the movie to brilliant use.

You cant miss the Lego version of "Knights of the round table" and a recent documentary with Jones & Palin revisting the location sites was a cool addition...This film also had one of the most hiliarious trailers I've ever seen.

Oh yeah, I voted for HOLY GRAIL by the way :)

I do love The Holy Grail. It has some great moments including sir lancelot's run up to the castle, the black knight, the rabbit scene, the bridge.... the French castle...

HOWEVER, I have had a long hard think and am going to have to plump for the Life Of Brian, for it's more intelligent and well rounded composition.

LOB has some great satire, sharp jabs at the Church and some great gags. It may not have some belly bursting scenes as HG, but it stills has some wonderful humour.

Plus it has an excellent score (great theme), and a better ending that HG.

Great job. Felt like a film rather than an overlong MP sketch (which is how I see MOL I'm afraid).

I had the misfortune of having Holy Grail hyped up for me by every friend I had since the forth grade, so when I saw it, I was kinda disapointed. I liked it, but didn't see why everyone persecuted me for not having seen it yet. My brother is a huge Python fan, and showed me Meaning of Life. That, hands down, has got to be my fav. How can you not think the Professor showing sexual education to his students by doing his wife right there, isnt funny?
But thats just my opinion.

I like Holy Grail and all, but my vote goes for The Meaning of Life, because I think MoL is a better movie. I haven't seen Life of Brian, but I'm sure that it's hilarious.

I voted holy grail, I haven't seen all 3, but I saw Meaning of Life, it was kinda boring compared to Holy Grail.

"No, let me face the peril!"
"No it's much to perilous."

"Some day son this will all be yours.."
"What, the curtains?" :D Sorry couldn't help it...

I'm stunned at the lack of LOB votes - considering the press it got and the subject matter, I thought more people would have seen it for the hype alone!

The votes for the MOL is shocking too! Normally considered the worst movie by most viewers and the Python crew too!

Well this has turned my head - I thought no one particularly liked MOL. It has some good scenes, but I'm suprised people are quoted this to be a better constructed movie - it is really just a collection of sketches very losely hung together (which I think was the Pythons main problem with it - that and it wasn't as much a group experience to film).

On the plus side, I did enjoy some of the songs. The Meaning Of Life and the Galaxy Song were clever and rather catchy!

Holy Grail of course! I've only seen Life of Brian (which I just... didn't like) and Holy Grail, so of the two that one gets my vote. Really funny movie! Some of my all-time favorite quotes come from it!

They call me... Tim?

Holy Grail all the way! That movie was just so awesome and funny!

We are the Knights who say "Nee"!

Run away, run away!

What is your quest? What is you favorite color? How fast does a Sparrow fly?

Beware of it's fangs! *that rabbit was so great*

Such a difficult poll. Honestly, I loved all 3 of those, truly I did. But in the end, I am going to 'follow the croud' on this one...

NOTHING holds a candle to the infamous Holy Grail!
