I am curious, was anyone else a little disappointed at the whole enviornment of ASA? I mean I love the shows but ti didn;t give me the giddy feeling I get when i see the old people swimming with the lifeguard yelling crazy things. "No eating in the pool"
Sure the Steven Hawking voice was kind of quaint, But when watching AS i can't change the channel. Not even during the commercials, always afraid I will miss somehting, that was perfect what they did.. (that or I am just a freak), but with ASA i noticed i could leave and do other things. *shrugs* just a thought.

I think the 'cute' things are fine for a comedy block but not for an action block - that having been said I don't know what I would put between programs (probably nothing just pack the block end to end with content not fluff).

They could have Jhonen Vasquez do little animated shorts of FILLERBUNNY!

Hey, my whole point was not to add "cute" things, but do something similar, yet more intense. And yes Filler Bunny and Happy Noodle Boy, would rock. =)

I'm not sure about this (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm way off) but it seems that ASA wasn't given much time to get to the air so maybe better things are coming in the way of filler & such.

I still don't get why this block is called "Adult Swim", it has no pool and is not intense. It doesn't even say the word "Action" in the title, which is the one word that you can used to decribe it! Cartoon Network picks the worng things to be politically-incorrect about.
Cartoon Network needs to buy Invader Zim or make a cartoon about Jet Grind Radio, something cool and action-packed.

I love it :D I never cared much for the pool intros.

The only water/swim related thing I would have 'accepted' as the opener would have been something with Navy Seals in it :)

How bout we have tsunamis wrecking cities. That would be edgey. Or if you look carefully, the background thingy looks like black water of sorts.

Well, the promos seemed very cheap to do. I have a copy of the computer program that did "the impersonation of Stephen Hawking" on my system right now. It's a word processor-type thing called Read Please 2000. You can get it for free off of ZD Net right now. Macs come with a similar program pre-loaded. I wouldn't be surprised that if in a couple of weeks, the promos change completely.
