I'm pretty sure it's going to be a redo of the series, but in my opinion, that depends on how successful Bakugan really is... If the merchandise is anything to go by, I say CN just might.

I'm thinking either CN or family channel. It was airing on Family Channel for me any ways. I hope they get the rights for it, I kind of enjoyed it :)

I'm thinking Jetix.

Well there's not really many options if it's going to air on US television. CN, Jetix and I suppose 4kids might have gotten it rather than Nelvana.

Nelvana's a channel?

Well Nelvana is part of Corus and Corus has a channel on-demand in the US but I meant the company. So what I mean was 4kids Entertainment might get Beyblade's new season rather than Nelvana and if that does happen then obviously it would be on 4kidsTV. If Nelvana gets it then CN is probably more likely than Jetix at this point but Beyblade like Digimon has a history on Jetix so I certainly wouldn't rule it out.

The big difference between the two is that Digimon moved to Jetix because Saban was bought by Disney. This means Disney owns the first four series rights- dubbing and airing. Toei chose to send Data Squad there because they've aired all the other series and are still airing them, but Disney doesn't actually have any control over Data Squad.
Nelvana owns the rights to the first three seasons of Beyblade, and the Japanese counterparts usually choose to go with the company that did the previous series when series are brought back like this, so I think they'll get the dubbing again. I could see it airing on 4K!ds since they will have two blocks to program this fall, but I think CN is the more likely place since they'll need something to pop into Bakugan's spot once those 51 episodes are up, since they'll either be waiting for a second season or need a replacement all together. I will say it could air on Jetix, but the reason the other three seasons aired on Jetix was solely because of the Nelvana contract with Disney. That contract has expired now, which is why Bakugan is on CN and why Di-Gata Defenders was on 4K!ds TV (and is available on their Web site still).

Nelvana never sticks to one block in particular. They've had shows on Kid's WB as well as Jetix and 4kidsTV.
I wouldn't say it's guarenteed that the Japanese producers will continue to give the materials to Nelvana. If someone offers them more money they'll go there. That's where the 4kids angle comes in.

Well I think it would go to Jetix instead of Cartoon Network.
Just my opinion.

Let me restate what I was saying. Nelvana had a 5-year contract with Disney to air their shows on Fox Kids. When Fox Kids folded and became Fox Box, Disney and Nelvana still had a contract for four more years of programming on TV. It transferred to ABC Family and eventually to Jetix. That's why Beyblade and Medabots aired on Jetix. Once the contract with Nelvana expired, Jetix removed all Nelvana shows from their line-up. It was only after the contract expired that Nelvana was able to start getting shows like Di-Gata Defenders on 4K!ds TV and Bakugan on CN.
It is that lack of a contract now, and me thinking they won't go back to Disney because they had some issues between the two at the end, that makes me say Beyblade will probably not return to Jetix if Nelvana gets the new series, which I think they will. It is because 4K!ds now has two blocks to program for that I could see them pitching it to 4K!ds. I could also see that since they originally wanted their shows on Fox Kids. The success of Bakugan on CN (though not necessarily in the ratings) is what makes me think they might air it on CN though.

I don't really like Beyblade, plus Bakugan isn't good either. IMO it will just make CN going down the wrong path. Jetix already sucks, so they might as well add another suckish show to its lineup cuz no one really cares about it anyway. I'm sounding harsh, but I guess it's just one mans opinion.

That doesn't mean CN will neccessarily want it.
It's been a while since Beyblade was on the air so it has no ties to Jetix anymore (unlike Digimon which was still airing reruns when season 5 was annouced). But if it's a continuation of the series then the distributor may not be sure where to put it. If it's a reboot then it doesn't matter at all.
But I think you're assuming to much when you expect Nelvana will get the new Beyblade season. If 4kids wanted it they could easily outbid them. But then again, 4kids may not want to deal with it themselves and would rather just borrow it from Nelvana like Di-Gata Defenders.
But nothing is certain right now. Beyblade has been off the air for quite some time now and that makes it more of anyone's game than a sure thing for Nelvana than it would be had this season come when Beyblade was still on the air somewhere.
And bare in mind I'm not ruling out Nelvana either but I think some other companies also have a shot at Beyblade's new season.

Actually it has one tie with Jetix- Disney owns the rights to Beyblade The Movie: Fierce Battle. I see one of three groups getting it though:
Nelvana- dubbed the previous three series
Disney- did the movies, aired all three series (it was #3 behind Spider-Man and Power Rangers until Digimon was also added)
Hasbro- They own the rights to the toys, and they haven't done anything since Idaten Jump since CN Studios is doing Transformers Animated.
