On what basis are the new DVDs considering a chronological order for B:TAS? They apparently aren't going by air-dates. However, if they go by the series number of each episode, then two-parters like "Two Face" and "The Cat and the Claw" won't even be on the same disc!

Except in some cases (such as the introduction of a character), the order of the episodes don't rally matter all that much. I'd actually prefer a chance for the fans to choose which "general" episode they want on each disc, rather than being forced to buy one with three sucky episodes to get two good ones.

"You carry a badge?"
"Um...yes."
"Carry a gun."

The DVDs are going by production number order (like the poll above). I think the only time they'll break from that order is for two parters. I think they'll release them like how Cartoon Network airs them. CN airs them in production number order, but airs the two parters side by side.

Hey, do you want to talk about episodes not being on the same disk? I subscribed to Columbia House's VHS Tape club and have the whole collection of B:TAS. Each tape has four half-hour episodes, and each tape is given a title to tie in the four episodes, like a theme.

Believe it or not, one tape is called "Super Friends". Here's the list of episodes:

1) "Knight Time"
2) "World's Finest" Part 1 of 3
3) "World's Finest" Part 2 of 3
4) "Girl's Night Out"

Do you notice anything missing? Yep! Where the heck is "World's Finest" Part 3 of 3?! I thought it was incredibly tacky that Columbia House did that. If they wanted people to buy the whole "World's Finest" movie separately, they should not have included this quartet of episodes in the B:TAS collection.
