DTM will soon be going on CN. Wonder when.

The Dic version or the version made recently? If they run the DiC version I'll be mad. Partially because I was hoping Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats would be forwarded to Cartoon Network, not DTM.

...the last Dennis series WAS the DIC one.
There was a direct-to-video animated Dennis in '98 which starred Don Rickles, Betty White and (cringe) Carrot Top, which Warner Home Video put out, if they're producing a series based on that we'd have heard about it from Jerry or somewhere.
Bear with me puh-le-azzz, my ISP is cutting in and out again.
If you have to scream, Brandon, do it into a paper sack or something, 'kay?

Actually, the Don Rickles/Carrot Top movie was a live action direct-to-video sequel to the theatrical Dennis film starring Walter Mathau.
As far as the cartoons, there was the syndicated DIC one in the 1980's (with Phil Hartman doing most of the male voices)....and a short-lived Saturday morning series in the early '90's, produced after the live action film was released. In this new version, Dennis was actually given normal "human" eyes instead of two black dots.
I may be thinking of something else, but I want to say there was a previous Dennis Saturday morning cartoon in the 1970's. And of course, there was the classic live action TV series (who else cannot watch "Hook, Line, and Stinker" without thinking of the show?).
Personally, I think the DIC show is one of the most grating, obnoxious modern-day cartoons ever made.
The IMDB says there was a Dennis the Menace animated TV show in 1968.

Sadly it is the DIC one. It is the one that was like a anime smokin' crack on a Tuesday. It is coming from the program exchange.

BTW, The Program Exchange has also distributed Rocky and Bullwinkle, Underdog, Garfield and Friends, and Sailor Moon to CN, so they are currently the only reason why CN shows non-WB stuff. And also BTW, expect more DiC shows on CN (or possibly Fox Family Channel/whatever it's gonna be called when someone buys it out), since Disney no longer owns DiC. (Please, please, PLEASE let CN show the GOOD Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon!)

I want to see "Heathcliff" again. And if I'm not mistaken, didn't the same company do "Inspector Gadget"? Geez, they could play a good show like that, and what do they get? Dennis the Menace! Ugh!

Is this version the one with a theme song where a male voice sing "DENNIS!" and a bunch of wierd sounding female voices sing in chorus, "Dennis the Menace!"? Making the theme sound like "Dennis, Dennis the Menace!"

Now that you mention it, I can remember that theme song. It brings back a lot of memories of when I used to watch it as a kid.
