View Full Version : Another insane Mario hack
Watch and be amazed. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0kzWSdRQsI)
I can't imagine someone actually being able to put something like that together and having it work with as few flaws as it did. Wow.

Good Lord, that was amazing. Having watched the whole thing, I feel kinda dumb now; I didn't notice this guy was matching the song until about 1:30 in. Good choice for a song, too.
That was just epic. *watches again*
I think a lot of the novelty from the "automatic Mario" fad wore off when they added the "run" and "jump" blocks into the game's engine.
Automatic Mario fad?
Yeah, it's a Japanese internet fad where they build a level of Super Mario World, and Mario will clear it without any buttons needing to be pressed, sometimes making the sound effects play music. I'm sure you've seen tons of them.
Lately, though, they've added blocks to the game's coding that makes Mario run and jump on his own. (in the video, they're the colored "!" blocks)

Here's something similar, Kaizo Super Mario World. It's a ridiculous hack but it seems that its' possible. There are many different videos showcasing its absurd difficulty, but here's the first level.

Man, who needs drugs when you've got stuff like this?
The part at 1:43 where Yoshi flies backwards and murders a bunch of Koopas is amazing.

The blinding speed just completely threw me in for as loop. What is this, Mario World, or Sonic?
My favorite part; 2:49 when Luigi is saved from certain doom by a strategically placed invisible Musical Note block.
