G.I. JOE Aquired By Turner

Well, I'm not sure if this is old news or not, but I haven't seen it (or don't recall seeing it) on the boards so..

According to a few sources,

The GI JOE series has been acquired by Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. Which may mean it will be making a return to Television, possibly Cartoon Network or Boomerang.

If this is true, I'll definitely be tuning in. No official word yet, so for now it's rumor.

I heard a rumor that they got the entire Sunbow library, not just G.I. Joe. I'll have to check on that though.

WHAT? Oh man i hope they do play that show on tv again...i am a HUGE fan of GI Joe and always thought it was one of ( if not) the best shows from the 80s....

If this means that I will get to see sweet wonderful GI Joe goodness after so many years (I dont think I've seen the series since I was 6 and in the 80's) I will officially do a dance of joy with a lampshade on my head ^________^


Not quite that much mind you, but I REALLY want to see this series. Both the Sunbow and DiC ones. ^____^
