The sad part is I might know people who would actually try to import this.

So I guess these goofy vitamins are the Japanese equivalent to that "Ballz" brand of energy drinks that hardcore PC gamers are so fond of.

I dont know to what degree Americans will eat this up (especially East coasters) but in Japan, I can imagine this being *BIG*.

I used to work at a GNC within driving distance from 2 major international airports. I kid you not, the VERY FIRST thing many orientals did who were visiting the US was to hit up the closest GNC / Vitamin Shoppe they could find and buy things in mass quanties. We're talking usually within the $1000 mark worth of supplements.

Many things we have easy access to such as Ginsing, Lecithin, Natural Vitamin E, etc are damned near impossible to get at reasonable prices over in any of the oriental countries at reasonable prices. A frequent shopper from the mall chinnese restraunt once told me Lecithin (the thing most travelers brought) sells for approximately $100 USD over there where it sells for about $10 here.

Yea, they like their supplements >.>

Well, Square-Enix probably assumed that the fans would buy those things mainly for the pretty bottles. :p

Royal Jelly is actually a big time used supplement mostly for helping with your digestive track and sometimes toted for weight loss.
