Where Cowboy Bebop use to be

Now they are on the Saturday Adult Swim line-up, does anybody know what will fill up the 1 hour time slot Cowboy Bebop had on the original Adult swin sunday line-up?

[indent]This brings up an interesting question. Since Adult Swim Comedy is only two hours now, why are they having Adult Swim Action be 3 hours? It could easily be two hours if Outlaw Star and tenchi were bumped to Toonami rising Sun, especially since these are Toonami shows anyway. Anyone have any theories on why Adult Swim Action is launching with 3 hours?

I think it might be so that they have those time slots not taken up by any ****ty shows (cough, cough... Scooby...cough, cough) so that any new shows have a time slot to go to...

Hehe, after AS is going to be Rocky and Bullwinkle followed by popeye. That's depressing, I hope they get some replacements soon..

I agree, thats shabby to cut it down to 2 hours... and follow it witrh recetcled cartoons I have seen at least 50 times over.

That's not the most depressing part. As of right now, Rocky & Bullwinkle has the AS logo in the corner and the bumpers during the commercials! And you people were complaining about OLS and Tenchi (not necessarily those in this thread).

[indent]Personally I think Rocky and Bullwinkle is perfect for AS, it works on many levels. A lot of it was aimed at adults and kids wouldn't get a lot of it.

i think it would be smarter to end adult swim comedy at midnight because of people having work/school the next day i don't see why they couldn't just start it at nine

I think they're trying to move it out of reach of the 'younger folk'. Also, I think the 'rules' on TV change at 10PM (could be wrong on this one). Of course, a lot of 'kids' stay up a lot later than 'old people' do (at 35 I'm listing myself as an 'old person') so time isn't much of a deterrent. As it is right now I tape both nights of AS since I usually fall asleep before 11 - so I watch it well before 10PM :)

[indent]I don't know about TV, but in radio you can legally say whatever the *%@# you want after 10 PM.

In the unofficial 2002 schedule you show AS comedy going back to three hours in July, so what's the deal (just asking, don't get defensive)?

I'm definatley not the right authority to be speaking about this since my cable provider finally picked up CN this summer, but I did some digging and found some information on Toonami: Rising Sun. From the looks of things, it was an unsuccessful experiment from the days of the third hour. If I'm wrong, someone correct me, please. Anyways, here are some links that might be helpful:

The only reason it "failed" is because it got ratings while KidsWB didn't.
...that's why the third hour of normal Toonami went away too.
