When Undertaker defeated Edge at WrestleMania XXIV, he not only won the World Heavyweight Championship, he also lengthened his already-incredible WrestleMania winning streak to 16-0. But The Deadman won’t rest now that he has the Championship, because the man he won it from is none other than the Ultimate Opportunist, Edge, who gave Undertaker more than his fair share of trouble in their title bout. If The Phenom wants to keep the former champion at bay, he will have to keep close watch on the entire Rated-R entourage, including cohorts Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, and fiancée, SmackDown General Manger Vickie Guerrero. Will the Rated-R Superstar have anything to say about his downfall this week on SmackDown?

After losing a Career Threatening Match to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV, 2008 Hall of Famer Ric Flair made an appearance on Raw for a Farewell Address, where family and Superstars of past and present paid tribute to the “Nature Boy.” WWE.com has learned that HBK will visit Friday Night SmackDown to offer his thoughts on what went down in Orlando, Fla. What kind of reaction will the man who ended Flair's career get from our fans and his fellow Superstars?

At WrestleMania XXIV, our fans witnessed a surprise return from Matt Hardy, who ruined United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter’s hopes in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Matt Hardy hasn’t seen ring time for months after undergoing an emergency appendectomy, but had no problem taking out his rival with a Twist of Fate. With Hardy back, he’s already been slated for action against MVP in a non-title bout this Friday on SmackDown. Will Hardy dish out more of the same punishment? Or will the angry champion make Hardy pay the price for spoiling his chance for victory and the coveted championship contract?

It was The Largest Athlete in the World vs. The Greatest Fighter in the World at WrestleMania XXIV, and Floyd “Money” Mayweather proved size isn’t everything as he knocked Big Show out for the count with a set of brass knuckles. Now that he’s been felled in this David and Goliath tale, what’s next for the 7-footer?

The winner of the SmackDown Diva Contest will also be decided this Friday. Cherry or Michelle McCool will walk away with bragging rights and a new Beverly Hills Chopper. Which lovely Diva will ride away a winner, the sweet ‘n shy Cherry or All-American Girl McCool?

Pulling out a big win for SmackDown at WrestleMania XXIV, Batista defeated Raw’s Umaga in the Battle for Brand Supremacy. SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero initiated this challenge with Raw General Manager William Regal, and it panned out for her and Batista. But will it be long before Regal comes knocking with an even more devastating opponent?

To see all the fallout of WrestleMania XXIV, tune in to Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 CT on The CW Network.

I actually like where the Batista/Michaels feud is going. I liked the not doing jobs bit. Hopefully this will freshen up Batista's character as he sorely needs something as he's been stale for a year plus.

I also liked Borat Kozlov returning. But the best part was the Russian flag on the stage and no music and nothing else. Very old-schoolish.

Nice debut by Nattie Niedhart as well. Hopefully they don't change her name ala DH Smith????

Overall, a very good Smackdown.

The second hour of the show was marked by low energy. I wasn't crazy about the lack of commentary after Michaels & Batista; it seems to be something they're doing to enhance the drama, but come on, this is wrestling. It's just not powerful enough to warrant that, and it'd be better off with commentary 95% of the time. Plus the whole angle is weird, anyway, with Michaels' extreme crisis of conscience over winning a wrestling match legitimately.

Then Koslov came out with no music and left with no music. Old-school? Maybe, but this is a new guy we know nothing about and we need something! The whole thing was a huge dud, partially because it was a jobber match but largely because it had no music. Just weird.

Khali is always death, naturally. They almost no-commentaried their way through the Diva thing, and then Kane & Undertaker's match wasn't too exciting. Follow that up with logicless heel interference and it's a pretty poor way to end the show. (I thought having UT & Kane wrestle each other was supposed to be a punishment. Why interrupt it? And why assault them when they're together and more able to defend themselves? It doesn't make sense any way you slice it.)

Matt Hardy vs. MVP was good, though.

It was decent Smackdown tonight.

Anytime the Brothers of Destruction are together whether as a team or opponents are always a treat.

Michelle McCool winning the diva contest thing was predictable. Cherry should have won in my opinion.

Batista/ HBK feud would be great too bad Batista was awful as always when doing a promo. Come on Batista you are doing a promo with one of the best promo guys out there and you kept repeating the same point over and over. I did laughed at the ego and selfish point because it could have been for HBK or Batista.

Khali and Big Show okay then. It's the same segment with the same ending. I wonder if they will repeat the same segment next week?

Kozlov coming without an entrance music was hilarious. The bad part his finisher is blah.

SmackDown wins the award for worst opening segment mainly because Vickie Guerrero was there to bad act her way through it. I hope when Edge loses again at WrestleMania XXIV II, I mean Backlash, that he will dump Vickie and she’ll lose her job.

Matt Hardy got all kinds of revenge this week capping it with a win over MVP. With the title not on the line I suspect this is not over yet.

Miz & Morrison were smart enough once to attack Festus before the bell rang. Zach Ryder did not and it was his bell that was rung.

This HBK-Batista feud could work and I’m interested to see if it does. I wasn’t impressed Monday, but Friday it looked better. At the same time, I don’t want Ric Flair being dragged through the mud in any capacity right after he retires.

I don’t think Vladimir Kozlov “loves double double E” anymore. The thing is, his theme from The Music Vol. 7 fits this evil Russian personality just as much as his goofy Russian personality and those chose not to use it.

I thought Miz & Morrison knew enough to run when The Great Khali shows up. Yang & Moore getting it I expected, but the Tag Champs should have gotten the heck out of dodge. Big Show doesn’t run from anyone however.

The Top Diva segment was great simply because it was the last one. Everything you didn’t like about the Diva Search but with real Divas and worse. The bike was such an odd product placement too. I still remember the last time a mean blonde chick jumped the face Diva so I got an odd sense of déjà vu. I suspect Nattie Neidhart isn’t going anywhere however. ;)

I didn’t think of the main event as a set-up, but in retrospect I should have. Nothing else to really say on it.

Don't worry; any logically thinking person wouldn't have.

I mean, why attack them when they're together? The so-called "numbers advantage" would've increased if they had just attacked them separately backstage.
