Is there any chance ToonZone could change its policies to ensure that people don’t ruin legitmate threads on April Fools Day? With all due respect, a lot of people love ToonZone because it’s a place where we can discuss animation with other animation fans. I know that people are going to joke around on April Fools Day; I don’t mind the joke threads, and the forum’s “changes” are also fine, but please don’t interrupt legitimate discussion. Not every thread made on April 1st is a joke, nor should those threads be ruined by people who are attempting to get a laugh.

Can we please respect one another and allow some degree of normalcy to take place for those who want some degree of normalcy?

That doesn't matter. People shouldn't be allowed to ruin legitimate discussion. If people don't like April Fools Day, April 1st is just like any other day of the year. They should be allowed to come here and discuss things as they normally would. Jokes should be kept in the joke threads.

I've been around this board for several years. Nothing is going to stop the April Fool's madness. It's best to accept the fact that normal "discussion" isn't going to happen today and simply be happy that you have 364 other days in the year to talk about the "important" things (365 days this year!).

Even if people didn't interrupt the legitimate threads, they would still be buried on page two and beyond fairly quickly.

Chill out, everything will be back to normal by tomorrow. I agree that we should keep the fun to our designated prank threads and allow those who aren't in it for the spam to have actual discussions in peace, but as for now, just chill out.
