The most disappointing episode of the season.

It was a Candi episode, so I wasn't expecting it to be good(The Candi episodes are, by default, not as good as the episodes that Christie Chavanough voiced), but it was like the writer's went on vacation for a few weeks whlie the episode was made. I mean, an entire four minutes of Mandark's laugh rhythm? It's funny on it's own, but only because it was once in a while, and now they've killed it! GAH!

If Memory Serves was frustrating because it built up to nothing, the ending was basically inexistent, and the story itself was ill-constructed.

Teletrauma was okay, but unfortunately it was just an excuse to recycle SNL and Seinfeld quotes.

I'd have to give this episode a D-. It's almost as bad as Dee-DeeMensional.

Thankfully, we should be seeing more Christie episodes soon, including episodes that Genndy and staff had to have worked on before leaving for SJ(come on, I know they had boards and scripts laying around after Ego Trip). I'm certainly interested.

For the record, Chris Savino will be adding title cards to the season 3 episodes eventually, so they won't all be generic forever.

I had some Tele Trauma of my own as I didn't know when it came on until I read the board and ran to watch CCF and all I saw was Tele Trauma.

I thought it was pretty funny when Dexter (as a baby) was dancing in front of the mirror saying "I'm a baby! I'm a baby!"

The "Tele-Trauma" episode was pretty good, especially when he called the teacher "Newman", lol!

I'm probably the only one who thought A Mandark Cartoon was actually funny. I'm weird that way.

Remember when dexter wore the TV helmet and he said "The city of Townsville's in danger" or something like that.
Also Dexter and related characters appear in 'Criss Cross Crisis' ,'Powerprof' and 'Ploys 'R us'.

A Mandark Cartoon was... well... painful.

Very. Very. Painful.

"If Memory Serves" illustrates really what sort of kid Mandark is--chilly, ruthless, devoid of sentiment. Personal memories hold no value for a coldly rational mind as his. I was oddly reminded of John Larroquette's character in that Richie Rich movie, upset at how the family's greatest treasure, sentimental geegaws, is worthless junk to him.

"Tele-Trauma" was something I'd probably have written--Dex, tired of missing favorite shows, acually finds a way to download satellite images into his brain, unfortunately causing information overload and inopportune lapses. If his voice had actually changed--that is, gotten one or several actors' voices to illustrate his blips, like when he imitated Seinfeld's meanderings-- it'd have been even funnier. And yes, the inside gag ref to "Townsville" cracked me up.

"Mandark Cartoon" was a clunker, though--had the feel of a bad Saturday Night Live sketch, with one joke being hammered at us repeatedly. Yes, we get everything in his life follows the same strange cadence. Not sure why he started bawling when he saw Dexter leaving his house--poor timing?--or why he wore a cape. Seemed redundant also after his great turn in the first short....

The worst Dexter I've ever seen was when they turned Dee-Dee into a "Pony Puff Princess" But it seems that cartoon network likes to play this cartoon a lot!!
