Here's an update for those of you curious about what Boomerang has been up to (or will be up to soon):

MARCH:

(This is pretty much the same as the current Feb. schedule, except where noted):

Mon. - Thu.:
8:00am: Smurfs
8:30am: Snorks
9:00am: Huckleberry Hound
9:30am: Yogi Bear
10:00am: Quick Draw McGraw
10:30am: Loopy de Loop
11:00am: Magilla Gorilla
11:30am: Peter Potamus
12:00pm: Boomeraction Block - 2 hr. (various action/adventure shorts, including: Arabian Knights, Moby Dick, Birdman, Shazzan, Dino Boy, Space Ace, Frankenstein, Jr., Space Ghost, Galaxy Trio, Space Kiddettes, Herculoids, Three Musketeers, The Impossibles, Young Samson, and Mighty Mightor)
2:00pm: Flintstone Spin-Offs
2:30pm: Jetsons
3:00pm: Atom Ant [replaces Top Cat]
3:30pm: Secret Squrriel [replaces Wacky Races]

Fri.:
Character of the Day (marathon): Top Cat [replaces Laff-a-Lympics]


APRIL:

Mon. - Thu.:

8:00am: Scooby and Scrappy-Doo
8:30am: Clue Club
9:00am: Character Block - 2 hr.
M - Dynomutt
T - Super Globetrotters
W - Hong Kong Phooey
Th - Mighty Mann and Yukk
11:00am: Cattanooga Cats - 1 hr.
12:00pm: Josie and the Pussycats
12:30pm: Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan
1:00pm: Theatrical Shorts Block - 2 hr.
M - Popeye
T - Porky Pig & Friends
W - Droopy & Barney Bear
Th - Tom & Jerry
3:00pm: Ruff and Reddy
3:30pm: Top Cat

Fri.:
Character of the Day (marathon): Flintstones

From April 1-7, to celebrate their second anniversary, Boomerang will have a week-long marathon showcasing 2-hour blocks of shows from a certain year. The marathon will cover the years 1963-1982.

Expect to see no Barney Bear on CN Acme Hour. The only place that will still have Droopy, Barney Bear, and Popeye will be Boomerang. (Aside from the Popeye show, of course.) :(

This is great to hear. It seems like ever since I started getting Boomerang back in October they seem to get hung up on the same toons over and over. 3 months of the Perils of Penelope Pitstop every day is enough. I'll be interested to see what airs during the marathon. :)

Hey, I just translated the thread so I could read Cartoon Man's post, and in French, Secret Squirrel is Squirrel Secrecy and Top Cat is Signal Cat! :D

En vrai francais de Top Cat c'est Le Pacha et Secret Squirell c'est l'ecureil secret mais c'est pas de ma faute si ca fait ca, desole!
