Will we see Flim-Flam,Scrappy or possibly a new character on the new Scooby Show?

Ugh. Probably.
I guess I'm more curious to know if they're going to make the monsters "real" like they've been doing recently, or stick to the old "guy in a funny mask" routine.

Hope & pray to whatever diety you believe that we will NOT! I suffered through that Demon Puppy when I was a kid, and I do NOT want others to know that pain.

isn't Scooby "cute" enough for them not to have a kid?

Not if there's a God. If this new Scooby series is to be based on the DTV films, as I'm hoping, then this would be just awful.

Technically, aren't they all kids?

If there was a god we would never see another scooby doo series, so obviously since there is no god, there will most likely be a new cute character. I'm guessing they'll either either bring back the short "puppy power" demon that traumatized so many of us way back when, or they will create a new recurring character. Which is weird, because there are already more characters than is really needed for a mystery show.
Of course, they are already supposed to be "meddling" kids. So why they would need a random 12 year old roaming around in the mystery machine is beyond me. They may even make shaggy the young one since he hangs around with the dog.

i wonder if they will play on the Freddy Daphney romance like they kind of have on the newer movies...

The fans have such a rabid hatred of Scrappy that I doubt he'll ever appear again. In fact, back in my video game reviewing days, I read a press release for the N64 Scooby game that included as part of its bulleted list of great features "no Scrappy!"

I have a feeling they're making the movie "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" like. It just makes sense. Then again, when has that speech-impaired dog and his misadventures ever made sense? :D

I hope in the movie they do the Daph/Freddie romance (Well there is a Sarah/Freddie Romance in REAL LIFE so who knows)

In a recent Cartoon Network commerial, Scrappy is walking out the Cartoon Cartoon studio talking how he is getting missed treated. Also, the writer of the Scooby Doo live-action movie states that their might indeed be a Scrappy Doo joke in it.
And for the record, I like Scrappy. :D
Maybe they could bring him back in the series as a villian or a hip-extreme sports teenger.

I have to agree. I remember the commercials that came out for the Boo Brothers VHS. Do you know which character could only be seen for a split second in the commercial, and even then he was hidden behind Scooby and Shaggy?
If you said Scrappy, you win a free pie.
But they might wind up tossing in a different kiddy.

Yeah, one of'em will probably have a kid. :p Knowing them, probably from Fred, Shaggy or Velma.

A while back, I saw the theme song for one of the later Scooby seasons with just Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby (maybe crappy too?) and some Hispanic kid.... Maybe that's who we'll get?

That sounds like Flim-Flam from 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. He was even more annoying than Scrappy. I hope that they have the intelligence to leave him out. If they're going to use an annoying kiddie sidekick, they could definitely do better than that.
