KIDS' WB! ONE STEP CLOSER TO SECURING GOLD FOR FEBRUARY SWEEP
NETWORK CAPTURES #1 WIN FOR THIRD SATURDAY MORNING OF SWEEPS
AMONG ALL COMPETITION IN BOYS 6-11 AND AMONG BROADCAST COMPETITION IN KIDS 2-11, KIDS 6-11 AND BOYS 2-11
BURBANK, CA (February 22, 2002) On Saturday, February 16, Kids' WB! moved one step closer to securing the "gold" for February Sweep as the network captured a #1 win among all competition in Boys 6-11 (5.3/20). For the third Saturday morning of the highly-competitive ratings period, the network dominated the broadcast competition to rank #1 among Kids 2-11 (3.6/14), Kids 6-11 (4.2/17) and Boys 2-11 (4.6/17). Achieving significant year-to-year growth, Kids' WB! saw ratings/share gains in Kids 2-11 (+33%/+17%), Kids 6-11 (+31%/+31%), Boys 2-11 (+28%/+13%) and Boys 6-11 (+29%/+18%). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! outperformed ABC (2.4/10), CBS (2.3/9) and Fox Kids (1.8/7).
For the morning, Pokémon: Johto League Champions, at 10:00 a.m. ET, finished among the top 5 broadcast and cable programs in Kids 2-11 (5.0/18), Kids 6-11 (5.7/21), Boys 2-11 (6.2/21) and Boys 6-11 (6.8/24). The animé-adventure series led the broadcast competition to rank as the #1 program in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Boys 2-11.
The new hit series The Mummy, in its 9:30 a.m. ET time period, topped the broadcast competition to rank as the #1 program for the morning in Boys 6-11 (6.9/23), and the #2 broadcast program in Kids 2-11 (4.4/16), Kids 6-11 (5.2/19) and Boys 2-11 (5.9/20). The around-the-world adventure rounded out the morning as one of the top 7 programs among all competition, including cable, in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11.

Jackie Chan Adventures, at 9:00 a.m. ET, took the #3 broadcast program spot for the morning among Kids 2-11 (4.1/15), Kids 6-11 (4.8/18), Boys 2-11 (4.9/18) and Boys 6-11 (5.9/21). The comedy-adventure series ranked #1 among its time period broadcast competition in Girls 2-11 (3.1/12) and Girls 6-11 (3.7/15).
The high-adventure series X-Men: Evolution, in its 10:30 a.m. ET time period, finished the morning as one of the top 10 broadcast and cable programs in Kids 2-11 (4.0/15), Kids 6-11 (4.4/16), Boys 2-11 (4.7/16) and Boys 6-11 (4.7/16).
At 8:30 a.m. ET, Static Shock electrified all time period competition to win among Boys 2-11 (4.0/16) and Boys 6-11 (5.3/22), and ranked #1 among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 6-11 (3.8/18) and Girls 6-11 (2.4/13).
