Since they haven't made a good series in a long time, i thought i'd make this poll on which Disney series was the best ever made.

This is a tough poll...but my favorite was always Darkwing. I loved the Just Us Justice Ducks story!

Darkwing will always rules in my book. I got all the Darkwing Duck tapes that Diseny release on video long time ago incudle The 1st two episodes of it,and The Justice Duck two part episode. Here is my qoutes

I'm conflicted. Gargoyles was a great drama, but Darkwing Duck was side splitting funny. DD also had great theme music.

Gargoyles wins quite easy here, even though Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, and Chip and Dale come at a very close second.

Yeah, Gargoyles was more dramatic and Darkwing was funnier, but there was just something about that show. . .. :)

And the new color scheme makes stuff hella hard to read in here.

Agreed. I voted for Darkwing though since I loved DW with his "I am the terror the flaps in the night" line. :)

Gargoyles was the best, it was the best drama and storywise. Its the only disney series I ever liked. I like comedies as much as anyone else, Darkwing Duck and the others just never cut it for me though.

Wow this thread brings back memories. Gummie Bears, DuckTales, and Chip N' Dale:Rescue Rangers were all big favorites while I was growing up. I don't think I can pick unless I got to watch them all over again. I miss those shows... :(

Unfortunately, I've never seen Gargoyles. I'd love to, though, since everyone says it's so great.

DuckTales, far and away. Why? Because of the man who should have, but never did, get his richly deserved "Based on and otherwise inspired by the imagination of..." credit on that series: Carl Barks!

It was kind of a tough choice but I opted for Darkwing Dark. He's kind of like Batman is a way if you think about it. Launchpad was a lot of fun as DW's sidekick. Great show. :)

Considering Duck Tales and Goof Troop got movies of their own, I'm still a bit bitter that the Masked Mallard didn't get his turn on the big screen.

I notice that nobody voted for Goof Troop or Bonkers. These two were ok, but didnt hold up to repeat viewings like DW did. In fact, I'd say about 70% of the Goof Troop episodes (more or less the ones NOT animated by WDTA Australia) were really weak. Ditto Bonkers, although at least that show also had help from WDTA Japan. Where were they during Goof Troop?

I did enjoy the later shows too, like Timon and Pumbaa, Aladdin and Quack Pack, but I recall the earlier ones much more fondly.

By the way, WDTA means Walt Disney Television animation. In the old days it was so easy to figure out who animated each episode whether it was the Japan, Australia or France units, Tokyo Movie Shinsa, Wang, Sunwoo or Toon City.

BTW, dont forget what show actually pre-dated Gummi Bears...the Wuzzles! I've actually got a few episodes of this on tape somewhere.
