A big six-man tag match highlights ECW tonight as three ECW Superstars prepare for Money In The Bank and ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero will have to prepare for anyone of 24 possible opponents at WrestleMania. Also, the next inductee in this year's WWE Hall of Fame class will be revealed.

March 18, 2008

Last week, CM Punk was victorious in front of a hometown crowd on ECW, earning a coveted spot in the WrestleMania XXIV Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The Straightedge Superstar picked up a win against Big Daddy V, then delivered a fierce GTS to an angry Matt Striker.

Now that Punk is on his way to WrestleMania in mere weeks, his eyes are surely set on ECW gold. But what will Punk bring to the Land of the Extreme on his way to Orlando, Fla.? He'll get a good look at gold as he teams with SmackDown's Jesse & Festus to face the "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin and the WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz in six-man tag action.

Speaking of WrestleMania, ECW General Manager Armando Estrada announced that Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and ECW will compete in a special 24-Man Battle Royal on March 30. The winner of that match will face Chavo Guerrero for the ECW Championship. How will ECW’s Superstars leave their Extreme stamp on WrestleMania XXIV? Who will participate in the 24-Man Battle Royal, and who will earn a chance at Guerrero’s ECW gold? How will Guerrero garner momentum going into his match at WrestleMania XXIV?

WWE Tag Team gold remained in the hands of The Miz & John Morrison for the second week in a row when they defeated Tommy Dreamer & Colin Delaney in an Extreme Rules Match on Tuesday night. Is this the end of the underdog duo of Dreamer & Delaney, or will Dreamer continue to aid Delaney in making his WWE dreams come true? Will Delaney ever get his own entrance music?

Finally, tonight will mark the addition of another legendary name to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2008. Names for this year's Induction Ceremony already include "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, The Brisco Brothers and more. Who will be added tonight in the Land of the Extreme?

Find out the answers to all of these questions and more on the next ECW on Sci Fi, tonight at 10/9 CT. Also, be sure to catch ECW in its entirety every week on WWE.com (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/ecwreplay/), available from Wednesday to the following Monday afternoon.

My first thought when I saw James Curtis this week?

"Wow. Sid shrunk, like, two feet."

Another bland show. The best part was the 24-7 esque feature on Show. I liked him with his wife, pets and glasses.

My favorite thing in ECW, the rise of the dream of Colin (Olsen) Delaney....has been shattered.

I now have no hope in the world.

Welcome to Extreme Squashmania. James Curtis gets a return engagement vs. Kofi Kingston. Kofi is undefeated, but Curtis has yet to buy a win since coming to ECW.

Hey, there's an idea. Curtis vs. Colin Delaney, winner gets a contract. Of course, Uncreative won't use it.

Add Delaney. At least he got more offense in against Chavo than he did vs. J-Me-L last night. Of course, Chavo would be a better opponent for Delaney than a selfish, bullying, spoiled rich jerk any day of the week.

I've a feeling the tag champs will retain on Friday after Festus pinned Miz this time. That's three times Jesse & Festus have beaten Mizizzle & the Lizard Prince. Anyone here not think an el-receipto is due?

No women this week. WTF?

Maybe Elijah Burke could buy a win, it's possible he hasn't tried that.

I didn't say anything about it on Monday, but a rough upbringing doesn't make it okay for Floyd Mayweather to be an arrogant jerk now and every indication is that's what he is. I do not see I humble man honored by the position in life he now finds himself, I see a punk who is proud to be rich and is happy to show it off.

James Curtis sure gets a lot of ring time on ECW for not officially being part of the roster. Kofi Kingston gets a lot of ring time for not having done anything yet.

I liked the backstage segment with Punk and Jesse & Festus. It was a nice set-up for the six-man which was pretty good. The Champs have a tough challenge ahead of them tomorrow.

I know virtually nothing about Eddie Graham, but he seems deserving. I suppose it was nice for ECW to get the reveal, but I wonder if they did because not many would connect with who was being talked about. I looked it up and Graham died in 1985 at the age of 55 (he allegedly committed suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a lifelong battle with alcoholism).

In contrast to the Mayweather video, I liked "Big Show at home" later in the show. I enjoyed seeing him and "in contrast" really sums it up.

Things have never gone well for Colin Delaney after Tazz tries to pump him up and that held against Chavo. The underdog pretty much always wins the contract match and I was surprised that didn't happen. I guess Colin isn't the new Zach Gowen/Barry Horowitz/1-2-3 Kid just yet.

My favorite thing in ECW, the rise of the dream of Colin (Olsen) Delaney....has been shattered.

I now have no hope in the world.I'm sure he's not done. Colin has scored a Superstar profile (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/superstars/colindelaney/). There are some official members of the WWE roster that have taken longer to get one than him.
