A Knight in shadows

hello my good friends is all seven members from the justice league going to be in the episode a knight in shadows? because I know it a Batman J'onn J'onzz and the demon episode. or is just going to be Batman J'onn J'onzz and the demon going to be in a knight in the shadows Part 1 and 2? let me know. :)

In a related note, why did they bother making this episode? We've seen Demon in Batman before. Why not tackle a character never seen before? Why not introduce Black Canary? Atom? Why a boring character like the Demon?

Atom wouldn't fit in a Batman/J'onn episode and Batman's the only human hero we need. Our demon friend suits us just fine though.

Ok, truth be told, I will gladly just not enjoy the Demon episode. I hate the Demon. I think he's a stupid character, I don't know why he was in the Batman series and I don't know why he's been shoehorned into JL.

If you want to see the Demon episode, power to you. I don't. I'd rather see, oh I don't know, any other character highlighted within the series.

I think they needed to make this episode. That one Batman episode, "The Demon Within", just threw in The Demon without any explanation of who he is/what he does/etc. This episode will not only show The Demon's origins and explain all that, but it will also be a great stepping stone to cementing the continuity between Batman: The Animated Series, The Batman/Superman Adventures, and Justice League. :)

I look forward to this episode! We'll have Seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 :D to introduce plenty of new characters here. Season 1 is the warm-up, not the whole game. :) Relax and enjoy!

Maybe it will explain exactly how Batman met the Demon in the first place! He just sort of showed up and was already pals with Batman in The Demon Within.

We also saw Aquaman before The Enemy Below, but that didn't make the JL ep any worse.

Anyway, I'm the other Demon fan. I just like mystic characters so I'm glad to see one showing up. Yes, I know, they could've used Doc Fate or the Spectre, but would they really fit in when you have an episode spotlighting Batman and J'onn, who have no mystical powers? The Demon's a tad more street-level.

Anyway, the point I wish I would've made earlier is that there's no way everyone will like every episode. If you've been hoping for that, then go back to sleep in the dreamworld where everyone like every episode.

And give it a chance. I don't know about the rest of you, but nothing pisses me off more than people who think they're so cool that they can bash something before it even comes on. Watch the episode, then bash it so you can at least have a reason...

I think the Demon's origin and first meeting with Batman was explained in a The Adventures of Batman Annual. I don't have the comic, myself, so I don't know what it's exactly about.

Yeah, but not once did they even mention in the Aquaman episode(JL), that Supes and Aquaman met Prior to that episode. So it totaly was devoided of their history. WHICH might be the SAME thing with Batman and Demon.

And Im with Clarke on this one, I'll watch it, But I feel they wasted a Perfectly good Batman and J'ohn episode on Demon. ANYTHING else would have been better. I want a Knew challlenge.

Are there any other episodes that basically will focus on Batman, I allmost feel cheated that this is the episode HE get's, that stinks!

Possibly, but I almost get the impression that this is the episode that the creative team wanted to do on Kid's WB. I'll bet they used Klarion (an actual DC character!) because of their stupid "kids only" rule. They deserve this chance...I'll let it slide.

They didn't mention A Fish Story, but, they also didn't say "Aquaman is real?" or "Pleased to meet you." So, I think it's safe to assume that it happened.

Personally, I'm indifferent to the Demon. I don't love him, but I don't outright hate him either. I've seen WBA turn characters I've hated (Aquaman) into characters I loke, and it's a Batman/J'onn episode, probably my two favorite characters on JL, so I'll definately be watching.

And, Injustice for All, the Injustice Gang ep, was also billed as a Batman-focused ep, so He'll have more than one.

I respect anyone's ability to dislike a character (cuz god knows theres plenty I dont like that eveyone else seem to) but I happen to LOVE Etragin. "The Demon Within" was one of my FAVORITES of the TNBA. Maybe its just cuz Im a sucker for mystical magical fantasy type stories, and a fan of Arthurian Legend.

I think JL just plain needed a magic focused plot to show the wide spectrum of the DCU and im glad it was the Demon. I really want to know more about him. And as far as I know the best characters to use for this type of episode (Demon, Doc Fate, Zattanna) have all been previously used anyway. But theres probably people Im forgeting or just dont know about...

Anyways next to Injustice for All this is the one i'm MOST looking forward to.

I'm looking forward to this episode, personally. I love sorcery and fantasy and all that good stuff, I'm something of a practitioner myself. The fact that it will have J'onn play a major part is also a deciding factor. that's a plus for the episode already.^^

Someone earlier said they want a new threat. Did anyone ever say the Demon would be the threat? If so, lemme know. 'Cause the Demon, oddly enough, is usually fighting for the general good (although his ways are different).
