You guessed it- an all new KOTH debuts tonight at 8:30/7:30c!

Due to general annoyance (and rightfully so) with the plot being given away in the Fox synopsis, I've decided to remove it from talkbacks from now on. It's better to go in fresh and see where the episode takes us than knowing it all beforehand, I think you'll agree. :)

THANK YOU! YOU'RE WELCOME! ;)
I laughed at Peggy's line: "Her attire isn't the ONLY thing that's gotten casual on Fridays. Let's just leave it at that....... Her values!"
The breakfast in underwear scene was both wrong and hilarious. "This is the way food was meant to be eaten! I can just hose off afterwards!"
Also LOL'ed at Bobby's delivery of: "Aaah! I'm tryin' to take a shower and there's no curtain! COME ON!"
Hank squatting down to sneak in his truck was a funny visual.

So, Peggy finally gets that the world hates her.

Dooley always makes me laugh. His Butt-Head vocals coupled with the random observant phrases.
"......I'm...back."

Waitaminute though. Isn't Dooley's mother supposed to be somewhat similar to Dooley in speech pattern?

Now it sound like it comes from his dad, case in point, when he noticed Dooley ran away. Which sort of makes some sense since most people think the first born takes most of their traits from their dads.
As for the episode itself, it was an enjoyable ride. Peggy taking things way too seriously was enjoying, and the family reaction at the end was also enjoyable, Hank forcing the phone on that BS parent help guy, had me rolling on the floor.

I truly feel so bad for Dale. Dale has sO much recourses to point him in the right direction and still comes up wrong is why I love his character. I mean the DNA stared him in the face and he still went for aliens.
The breakfast in underwear scene was both wrong and hilarious. "This is the way food was meant to be eaten! I can just hose off afterwards!" now that's why I miss Luann
Also LOL'ed at Bobby's delivery of: "Aaah! I'm tryin' to take a shower and there's no curtain! COME ON!"
The shower curtain reminds me of a rough time living with a relatives house full of girls while on vacation,,, I know how he feels.
man peggy in her undies was disappointing Eww, again that's why I miss Luann. but rea;;y, family girls in underwear is just something you have to overlook. Sweatsuits in our family is king thank gosh. Though quite often I use the phrase "my gosh I'm blind". [/lol]

Waitaminute though. Isn't Dooley's mother supposed to be somewhat similar to Dooley in speech pattern? Yeah, his dad is actually somewhat normal sounding, as we saw in season 3's "To Spank With Love":
MR. DOOLEY: Please, Mrs. Hill, we should apologize to you. I'm sure Stuart deserved it; we know what a handful he can be.
PEGGY: Well, what are you saying?
MRS. DOOLEY: You did good.
So the current writers must've forgot that.
Otherwise, I liked tonight's episode. It was refreshing to see angry Hank at the end. I thought he had gotten soft on us.

"Come on Hank! We're supposed to be intimate."
"I thought that's what the Dry Erase board was for!"
How can a show like King of the Hill keep coming back to the same formula (Someone has a point of view that comflicts with Hank, it gets out of hand, and Hank is right again), and yet not exhaust the hell out of it? They always seem to keep it fresh. This time especially.

Peggy was at an all-time low tonight, IMO. I just wanted to smack her with that book of hers, but at least she got the memo on how unpopular she gets. Also didn't need to see her in her underwear.
The Dale subplot made the ep for me, on the otherhand.

So the current writers must've forgot that. I figured as much, because that was one of the more memorable scenes of King of the Hill when Dooley became a bit more developed by actually having his parents onscreen and seeing what block he's a chip off of.

I enjoyed the episode. Fun to see people hating on Peggy in the show itself, she annoys the heck out of me.

The one mainstay of the series...Hank's never faltering attempts to kick someone's ass that he feels has wronged him or the family. He had never even met the author of the book, but was already willing to threaten a beatdown. Hank so crazy.
