If you could make Video Games....

If you could create a video game what kind of game would you make? I would make a shooter or some kind of RPG :D

I would make either an RPG or a racing game. RPG, because I like storylines, character interaction, and the thinking involved (usually) in playing those types of games. As for racing - well, I just have a thing for vehicles. :p

I would make an RPG. I love storylines too-more than once have I been kept awake at night wondering how to get pass a certain obstacle or a certain char's secret past...

...if that won't do, an action-adventure. Something serious, like SONIC ADVENTURE. I always love a challenge. ^^

Or perhaps a survival horror like ALONE IN THE DARK, though that would probably fit into the above genres. But if I can just make one person scared as they play my horror game at midnight...my work would be complete. :D

I'd make an RPG more along the gameplay lines of the ol' NES Little Ninja Brothers game. Instead of turn-based battles (no matter how advanced they are nowadays), they'd be more action based with Mario-level control over the characters. Add to that the usual RPG rich storyline, pretty graphics, tons of genre-busting minigames, and mucho amount of puzzles.

No matter the genre I would make sure that the games had worthwhile endings. Someone paying fifty or sixty bucks a game and spending hours on end "consuming" my product should at least get a good ending.

i'd like to make an RPG game in the same vane as Final Fantasy for such DC titles as JSA JLA , and theLegion of Super-Heroes and then make a Tomb Raider-esq style or like the current BatMan vengence game for the PS2 and use such
characters as NightWing,Birds of Prey,Robin, or what's really needed is a good Wonder Woman, Hell DC needs a good fighting game i'm tired of StreetFighter/X-men , or Marvel vs. Capcom, i think it's about time for a DC vs Capcom fighter game don't you ? :D :bosko:

Actually, I'm in the process of making an RPG. It's a 2D Old-school kind, a la FFVI, but hopefully the storyline will outweigh the graphics. It's called Crystalline Prodigy (http://anzwers.org/free/silverknight/games/crystalprod/index.html), and I'm using something called RPG Maker 2000 (http://go.to/rm2k). It's actually quite fun. It takes time, but it's worth it, if you really want to make games.

There are many game makers out there, by the way. www.happyapathy.com is a nice place to get several game makers, for adventure games, rpg makers, whatever you want. :) Well, I'll shut up now. :D

I'd definitely make an RPG, but instead of turn-based gameplay, I would use a real-time battle system, similar to The Secret of Mana and The Secret of Evermore. Those are two of my favorite games of all time, and I would love to make a game like them.

Marge--Average HP, surprisingly strong weapon user (Vacuum cleaner).
