Welcome to round 4 of the best episode poll for "The Batman." The last round marked the closest contest we've had thus far, with "Riddled" and "Meltdown" in close competition to move on to their next vote on 4/28. Hopefully, the next round will be just as competitive.

So, which episode above do you believe is the best? Please vote and discuss.

Also- I'll keep a close eye on things during the last few hours of open voting for round 3, but with what would seem to be all or most votes in, "Riddled" holds a two-vote edge. Previous winners and the upcoming poll schedule are listed below:

2/18 POLL- Season 1- Disc 1 WINNER: TRACTION
2/25 POLL- Season 1- Disc 2- WINNER: THE CLAY FACE OF TRAGEDY
3/3 POLL- Season 2- Disc 1- WINNER: RIDDLED
3/10- Season 2- Disc 2
3/17- Season 3- Disc 1
3/24- Season 3- Disc 2
3/31- Season 4- Disc 1
4/7- Season 4- Disc 2
4/14- Season 5- Episodes 1-8
4/21- Season 5- Episodes 9-13
4/28- Season 1-2 Winners
5/4- Season 3-5 Winners
5/11- Season 1/2 Winner vs. Season 3/4/5 Winner

ALSO: While I'm pretty sure TV listings had the episode titled as "Grundy's Night," the DVD collection lists the above referenced Grundy episode as "Solomon Grundy." Advance apologies for any confusion, though I'd think in any case the episode title should make things fairly evident.

"The Laughing Bat", without a doubt. It was a shame this kind of episode occured so soon in the show, but it did rock.

i vote for strange minds i like how greg wesiman wrote the episode to see what makes joker tick and i'm glad we saw his former self before he was transformed and the episode also helps us understand how hugo strange is a great villain

Definitely "Strange Minds". Great from start to finish. Though I really liked "Grundy's Night" and "Night and the City". I hope someone will someday explain to me why "The Laughing Bat" is so popular.

Well, it's been a while since I saw this season, but this is the episode I remember the most. Why? Because Batman does not laugh, usually. He is not supposed to.

Remember "Mad Love"? First time we heard Batman laughing...and that was pretty weird, even a little freaky.

I agree "The Laughing Bat" is not as good as the majority of Batman TAS Joker's episodes, but it's still important enough to be remembered.

There are some pretty sweet ones in there such as my favorite Joker episode "Strange Minds" and "The Laughing Bat", but "Night and the City" still wins hands down.

:D - Ragdolls to Riches still was the most entertaining...from the moment he popped out of the air vent at Catwoman until the clock tower fight.

Again it shows what brilliant writing and great voice acting can do for a rather "mundane" villain. Night and the City runs a close second.

Exactly. I liked one scene in this eppy...and thats Joker's exchange with Penguin in the alley after stealing the egg. Other than that, it was just an average episode.

Although it isn't groundbreaking or doesn't carry the great writing that "strange minds" and "Clayface of Tragedy" has, its just a generally good and original Joker episode.

I'd have to say Night & The City simply because Riddler was the main villain, and The Batman's Riddler is, IMO, one of the best versions there is; each of his three episodes were near-perfect.

:D - Quoted for truthfulness.

I literally had Night and the City clicked and was ready to submit (I agree that the Riddler's carnation in "The Batman" is, though not the most iconic, the best). But...

I really loved delving into the mind of "Mista' J" in "Strange Minds." I thought it was a unique approach, and unlike some episodes that had great premises but failed to deliver, the idea of going inside Joker's head holds the real potential to be a lame episode- and delivers solidly nonetheless!

Also... okay, it's not the best episode, granted. But, is anyone else surprised Grundy's episode has received NO votes?

Definately "The Laughing Bat". Its one of the best episodes of the series. A real gem.

Im surprised "Night and the City" is getting so many votes. Imo, it was just mediocre. Nothing spectacular. Episodes like "The Laughing Bat", "Ragdolls to Riches" and "Strange Minds" are much higher quality, but to each his own :) .

I'm really surprised too, as I like it more than "Ragdolls to Riches" or "The Laughing Bat". "Night and the City" would be a worthy winner, though, as it's one of the most exciting episodes of the series IMO.

While I certainly did think "Night and the City" was better than average, "Strange Minds" took a concept that I think was extremely easy to mess up (delving into Joker's mind) and executed well with an interesting approach.

I must admit that I despised "Ragdolls to Riches" and genuinely felt it was the WORST episode of season 2. It just felt like a shallow episode. I'd have to watch it again to give specifics, but I vividly remember that being my disposition after viewing.

to me the laughing bat was the best use of The Batman's Joker, and i fealt there were so many ways they could have made this episode suck by giving Bat Joker Bat woopie cushions an the like but they did not. I actually loved the subtlety of his "Joke" instead of making a mockery of how batman fights crime the joke is the crimes he stops.

Strange Minds was still the far better episode IMO though.
