Adrian Tombs was a philantropist that decided to use his technology to become even wealthier (don't remember exactly why tho). In the Spidey toon they freshened this up a bit by making it so he was on a quest for his renewed youth - stealing artifacts that gave him the power to steal a persons youth for a period of time and eventually he created a device that turned him into a child for a while in the Spidey toon.

Hope that helps.

It was some other crimeboss that became a baby. A funny talking baby at that. Vulture received Spidey's turn-into-a-giant-spider disease and didn't show up again until the Kingpin cured him so he could replace Mysterio in the reformed Insidious Six.

In the comic, Toomes contracted cancer, but he used a device to rid himself of it and make him younger at the same time. A few years ago he became an old man again for no reason.

You're right, I'm sorry Vulture stole Silvermaines youth and got to keep it becuz of the spider-virus that was still ravaging his body at the time.

Geez, time to dust off the 'ol Spidey tapes - been a while. Thanks for pointing that out to me! :D

What I wanna know is how did the animated Vultre went form the Man-Spider like creature, flying in the air (When Doctor Conners sabatoged the device to give Spider-Man back his youth but have Tombs keep the mutating diesase) to being captured in the Scorpion's closet changing from young to old before his stole Sivermane's renewed youth?

Heh, looks like I'm rusty too. However, I'm almost sure that was something that just happened. Just picture Scorpion coming across Vulture's hiding place and thinking "This guy could be useful in turning me back to normal, I think I'll keep him as a pet."

That wasn't explained on the show (to my knowledge) but a writer behind the show said that the Man-Spider disease mutated into him being unable to stay young or old. When he appeared next in Scorpions cloest (heh), he was past the stage of the Man-Spider disease. The unstable DNA that he got from Spidey mutated into his DNA and effected him via uncontrollable aging/deaging. Did I confuse ya? :)

He just found him, all right? They don't have to explain every little detail. It's like asking something like "How does the Joker break out of Arkham/survive certain death all those times?" These things just happen.
Of course, feel free to complain about Spencer Smythe surviving that explosion. That was just stupid.

BTW, I thought the whole "Keep him as a pet" line was pretty funny.
