How many different character head shots were used in the opening titles for LTs/MMs? I'm talking about the static head-shot pose just after the WB sheild fades. There was a Porky, a Daffy, a Porky AND Daffy, and a Bugs, and that's all I can think of.

And why was there never one developed for Tweety and/or Sylvester? Or the Road Runner (one actually WAS used for LITTLE GO BEEP, but I don't really count that one)?

I just think it's odd. After all, Paramount used one for just about ALL of their cartoons, as did Terry Toons (even their one-shots).

I obviously have WAAAYYYYYY too much time on my hands...

Those are it, no more head shots were made. I don't know why they made headshots for only a limited number of characters, even Disney made headshots fro it's non-star characters.

Perhaps they only had a policy of doing it for major shared characters only. Also, I've seen the headshots for Little Go Beep's opening, I didn't like them. They should have made it more animated, like the Porky and Daffy title.

Also, the modern head shot used for "Carrotblanca" scares me, Bugs looks like a vampire.

It's funny how they did away with the Daffy, the Porky, and the Porky & Daffy, but they kept the Bugs up until the very end. The last cartoon from the classic era ['80's and '90's don't count!] that I can think of with a Daffy headshot is "The Super Snooper", and the last with a Porky & Daffy is "Riff Raffy Daffy". Maybe there are other more recent ones, but I guess we'll never know until the Blue Ribbon titles are removed from them!
