In this episode, Diva's plan is coming into full effect. It's up to Saya and the others to stop her. Also, in this episode, a secret is revealed. What is it? Tune in at 1:30 am Eastern to find out.

Location: New York

That title sounds like something out of Cowboy Bebop.

Actually if that were true, I'd probably be even more disgusted. It's bad enough she raped a little boy and got pregnant from it, isn't it?

The secret is... DIVA IS REALLY A GUY!!! O_O.

I see her more as a transvestite with a large case of pedophilia, and that's on a good day.

(although I wouldn't completely doubt that some where under her elaborate dresses and little boy outfits there's secretly a few pieces that shouldn't belong on her gender)

Saya's adoptive father George is attacked by a Chiropteran, and during his time in the hospital he is unceremoniously taken to a Cinq Flesh laboratory and turned into a Chiropteran, forcing Saya to put him out of his misery.

Karl, one of Diva's Chevaliers, poses as the principal of a Vietnamese girls' boarding school and picks off the students who look like Saya.

Liza, the Red Shield's contact in Russia, is killed by a Chiropteran.

The Schiff, a rejected experiment in anti-Chiropteran combat, are convinced that ingesting Saya's blood (and in one instance, Kai's) would save them from death by crystallization, which turns out to be a total lie.

Cinq Flesh has done everything from starting a Chiropteran laboratory which experiments on abducted children to staging a Diva concert at an army base where spectators are turned into Chiropterans and slain by their Corpse Corps. It turns out their master plan is to use their know-how of Chiropteran breeding to manufacture a global-scale war and profit off it, and the US Government, typical of anime series such as this, are more than willing customers.

Diva's Chevaliers are not promised any type of job security. An obsessive Karl is simply written off when he sets out to kill Saya on his own, and James is abandoned after reconstructive surgery makes him part-Schiff, while Solomon quits of his own free will.

Amshel kills Solomon.

And let's not forget Diva turned Riku into a Chevalier and performed certain not-in-front-of-the-children acts with him.

As we're headed into the final three episodes, I thought we could use a little incentive.

Excellent use of flashbacks in an anime.

See? Just use sparingly.

Last time: See above.

Hey! No sleeping on duty!

One more reason not to buy energy drinks. Too much caffeine AND Chiropteran mutagens.

All the world's a stage...well, it's about to be.

Holy crap, I didn't think that was Kai for a minute there.

The Siren has arrived.

The reviews are in, her performance is a flop, and Saya's come to bring down the curtain...permanently.

The Metropolitan House of DEATH.

Oh, he's fine. He's taken shots to the chest before. Usually through the chest.

Even though she had four other guys and is also a pedophile?

OKAY. AMERICA BAD. WE GET IT.

Some opera tickets! No refunds, exchanges or chance of survival!

NO! NOT HIM! GET THE EVIL FRENCH GUY!

The evolution will not be televised.

War. Huh. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing. Say it again.

GAME ON!

Suddenly I have a new-found interest in the world of opera.

And one last moving, monotone speech by Dave.

Two Divas?! Or is she doing two things at once at super-chiropto-speed...?

Um, isn't it a little late to break the military feed? Should have had that stuff done before Saya even moved out...

I am going to guess Amshal dies in the next episode or better yet Nathan who is just sitting and enjoying the show..

Was I the only one who found it funny how the French guy was saying I AM SORRY.. I AM SORRY!

I hope you all paid attention to what Nathan said to Amshel in the beginning on the balcony. Nathan was around during the time of Saya and Diva's mother, implying that he knew her. (and is older than 'big brother') A couple places online think that he was actually her chevalier. Regardless, I don't think he can directly Diva's chevalier, meaning that Saya's blood isn't potent to him.

Speaking of which, Amshel is out of his effin MIND. Saya needs to not stand around so much, please? That really bothers me. Hell, if I was her I would have ran out on stage right in the middle of the song.
Van asking for repentance? A little late there, pal. Kai + gun = sexy? David stop getting shot.
Hagi almost snapped at Kai and I almost snapped Diva in half. YAY let the show begin.

If thats true then where in the world was Nathan when Diva was locked in the tower?

Off galavanting around someplace, I'm sure. He states flat out that he was around to live through the previous generation, and saw the results of it. He possibly could have been waiting for Diva and Saya to meet, or for the events with Amshel to take place.

Where's his Buster Sword Squad now?

Honestly, did the whole cast forget to prepare for these last few episodes?

I can't believe they managed to stick to just that one song Diva sings for most of the series. You'd think they would change to a new one right towards the end or you'd think people would eventually get tired of hearing this "hit" song over and over. Dunno, it's just something that's always been bothering me.

As for the episode, I, erm... honestly, a lot of these fight scenes look the same.

Yes, the Super-Capcom-Flashstep-no-Jutsu got old quite awhile ago.

And yet not once has Saya done it. Nope. Not in the whole series.

No, you weren't the only one to see it. I found it very interesting when Nathan started in about Saya and Diva's mom. really explains why he always hints with his scary voice that he is the stronger of 'Diva's' Chevaliers. And if he is immune to Saya's blood, then that also explains his 'can't die' attitude.

I agree, for Saya to beat anyone, she needs at least some of the powers that she is supposed to have. And Amshel just turning creepy this close to the end. Did Diva ever have a sane Chevalier? Everyone on the bad guy side has MAJOR issues.

Sitting in the audiance at the end all smug like that; he's pretty arrogant with out even trying.

Honestly, did the whole cast forget to prepare for these last few episodes? it srsly feels like that. Joel's wheel chair should have a few rockets attached to the sides and somebody should have given Saya a couple hundred caffeine pills before they even arrived at the place.

Um, you did notice the whole 'back hand the chiropteran without even using full force' thing? I mean, Nathan moved up a whole notch on the villian list while lifting a finger for the first time, even if it was a flamboyant wrist.

I had such a huge fangirl moment over that. It's like he flicked a fly off his shoulder.

I'm not sure who likes Diva more. Amshel claims to 'love' her, but his love is more focused on what she is rather than who she is. He wants her to populate the world with monsters and despite what he said to Saya, I doubt he ever had the intention of nurturing her like a princess till she was 90.
I supposed that by Nathan wanting to give her the focus of the world through her singing, she'll gain the attention she lacked her whole life.

Amshel didn't kill Solomon. His blood got mixed with Saya's during the fight with James.

I miss Soloman. Looks like he won't be coming to bail out Saya this time.

The Red Shield are still idiots. Where's your firepower? Ever hear of grenades? Where are the machine guns and the rocket launchers? Oh we'll just stick with our trusty handguns since they've been soooo effective the entire series.

YES AMERICANS ARE A BUNCH OF EVIL STUPID *******S WE GET IT!

Seriously, is it possible for them to lay it on any thicker? I mean, pseudo-Rumsfield and pseudo-Condi stood with Diva on the stage too. Good God we get it, we suck! Get to the story already!

As an aside, ouch for pseudo-Condi there. Too bad she didn't get to kill the evil French guy who looks to be due to a good freakout, considering his reaction to everything. I still find it laughable that he chooses the end of the freaking world to say he's sorry.

Hagi vs. Amshel and Saya vs. Diva for the fate of the world . . . should be fun to watch.

Looks like Red Shield has its hands full at the same time.

This looks to be one heckuva finale now that the evil US government subplot looks to be over.

I like how every time questions like this come up in the show, it's the same answer from the cast in unison:

"Only Saya can kill the Chiroptorans.

Just because, that's why."

Okay, with two episodes left after this one we should at least see the good guys you know... actually do something effectfual. I mean here all the focus has been put on Saya who so far has either been either falling asleep, being easily knocked around and trying to converse the enemies into giving up then actually being useful in battle. I mean really did we need to hear Amshall's whole "humans are greedy and should be destroyed so Chorpertians could take over blah blah blah" speech? I mean isn't there one of those in like every anime? (Seriously the Japanese may potray America as war mongering but they have a lot of depressing views on human society in general. Not that it's too off sometimes but really do we need a "humans must be destroyed" thing in EVERY one of them?). Really besides just depending on Saya, all the rest of the team has done was ineffictley try taking out the satillites and getting surrounded by Chorporitans (at least Lulu took care of one of them but they seemed to be pretty screwed now unless some big plot twist comes in to save them) while Saya goes to try and fight Diva. I mean it only took hundreds of people being transformed into monsters before the "hmmm maybe I should just go on stage and let Haji take care of Amshall before even more people start dying" kicked in. This one did have a couple of good moments (Kai trying to confront Haji about Saya who still is in the "I need to die after all of this blah blah" mode, Nathan sitting on the sideline enjoying the show, Van finally realizing just how screwed over he got in this whole thing and Saya's friends little cameos) but there had better be some actual fighting and actually trimhuphs by our heroes next time. Espically with only about an hour left to actually tell the story.
