Are there any sites out there that offer summaries of stories in superman comics? Im paticularly interested in reading summaries of those lois lane and jimmy olsen comics from the 60s, just so i could get an explanation for those "what the hell?" covers (jimmy marrying a gorilla, lois constantly getting killed by superman, etc).

The only one I can think of is this site, which provides summaries of almost every Silver Age Superman and Superboy story, arranged more-or-less in chronological order (for the Earth-1 Superboy/Superman---hence why some 50's tales aren't included, as well as an exclusion of the various "imaginary stories", and why some stories aren't in publishing order---such as 70s tales about Superman or Superboy's college years), which seems pretty thorough/dead-on (though given there's three versions of how Superboy became Superman, the point he switched names is debateable---the site went with one tale, while I'd have gone with another...):
