View Full Version : A quick question about Naruto's jutsus

One episode of Naruto that I never catch is his battle with Neji. I know he launched himself from out of the dirt to knock Neji senseless. Did he use a version of the headhunter jutsu Kakashi used during the genin orientation against Sasuke? Why does Naruto never use that jutsu anymore? Or why doesn't he summon toads after the battle with Gara? Using the same couple jutsus over and over again gets kind of old.

Yeah but using a million different ones makes him look ridiculously good...which he isn't...yet.

That's a question all Naruto fans want an answer to -_-
Naruto only summons Gamabunta when he's faced with a super-crazy situation (such as Gaara transforming). As to why he doesn't summon the more mid-level frogs...I dunno. Maybe he prefers fighting himself rather than through a summon unless he's forced to.
As for his jutsu against Neji, it wasn't quite Kakashi's Headhunter jutsu, partially because we don't even know if Naruto learned it (as he never saw Sasuke vs. Kakashi during the training and Naruto's more inclined to Wind-style techniques than Earth-style). More than likely Naruto just used his chakra to drill under the ground the old fashioned way without using any kind of special jutsu.
