Since Grundy is almost like Juggernaut, which member do you think could beat him head to head?

What is Solomon Grundy's origin, anyway? What makes him so special? I tried to do a Google search on him, and found nothing. All I know is that he's a zombie, he's invulnerable, and not very smart...

Can someone help me out here?

As for who could beat him, it all depends. Batman's beaten him several times. Green Lantern could probably beat him too (especially since his ring doesn't seem to have the weakness to wood that the Golden Age Alan Scott did). The truth is that they all have a pretty good chance of beating him. It just depends on the circumstances.

Oh, and I've always pictured him as DC's version of the Hulk.

Actually, it's not anyone from comics at all. It's a character from a video game -- Final Fantasy X on the PS2. Her name is Rikku, and she's considered by many guys to be the "babe" of Final Fantasy X.
