amazon.com has this title listed and tvshowsondvd.com has posted a preliminary headline. Perhaps there's a trailer for this dvd on the recently released Season 2 Volume 1. I'm heading out today for a copy. I never liked how they omitted the prologues for the Fugitoid arc (part 2-4).

The Ninja Tribunal dvd will include the Season 4 finale as well as the finished 12 episodes from the TRUE 5th season of TMNT.

In the meantime you can still enjoy the Tribunal arc the ol' fashioned way: Sat. mornings.

I'm not really surprised by this news. I figured that 4Kids would announce a street date for the "lost season" to be coming out some time after it air on TV.

If this is the case, perhaps I'll just wait until DVD to watch the rest of the arc.

I'd still get up and watch the rest of the series on Saturday morning, because if we show 4Kids that we prefer this type of TMNT series then maybe will get something closer to the earlier seasons instead of more gimmick related seasons.

I'm pretty happy that with this we will have S1,2,5,6 on this half season format. We would only need S3 and 4 which should be done in 09.

I don't see how it would matter, as I have to record TMNT anyway. Plus my watching it is not going to show them ratings since I do not have one of those special boxes.

mystic fury aka barbwire tattoos aside, this is a slammin'cover. I love the artwork on the new wave of dvds. Naturally the S2 V2 will have an awesome cover centered on the Battle Nexus: TMNT, Usagi, the Ultimate Ninja, & Draco.

Man, these covers just keep getting better and better. They even have the correct 'mystic weapon' to go with each turtle. No sloppy stock art here.

There's no 'season 5' moniker though. Not a big deal.

That box art is bodacious! I can't wait to add this one to my already huge TMNT DVD collection.

I agree, I can't wait to have this one. It makes me want to try and track down the Mystic Figures.

Neither can I. It even comes out two days after my birthday.

Yea it looks great, but I have a question. Why is 4kidstv being sooo difficult with these DVD releases? I mean they have absolutely no bonus features to speak of at all. I mean how hard would it have been for them to transfer over all of the interviews and making of featurettes from the Individual 4 to 6 episode dvd's. I mean seriously why not give us thoes.

It's almost as if they are punishing thoes of us who decided to wait for them to release proper season sets and did not buy the individual dvd's. Think about it. There is no excuse for these sets not having any bonus features.

They did not even have to produce new features they just simply had to transfer over the ones that already exsist on the eariler dvd's. it just makes no sense. This is the easiest thing in the world and they didn't do it. It really bugs me.

It's almost as of they went "Here, Here are your season sets. Are you happy now?" Not only that but Part 2 is not coming out till September.

I mean why so long a gap between parts 1 and 2 of season 2? Thats 8 months, 8 MONTHS!!!! That is inexcusable. I swear 4KIDS really hates us 2003 TMNT fans. This is just wrong. WHY THE HELL!!! will it take so long? What excuse could there possibly be for such a long wait. UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

Does anyone know if they are going to release a proper release of season 4? cause the one they have now is missing a bunch of episodes.

Funimation DVDs rarely have bonus features to begin with. The featurettes on the previous releases were on there really just because it was a brand new series at the time.

I could care less about special features being on the season set dvds, since the features we had gotten on the original dvds weren't that great to begin with.

All I can say in regards to the season sets is...IT'S ABOUT TIME!

After noticing that TMNT is on at the same time as Spider-Man, I've decided I'll just wait for this set to watch the rest of the "Lost Episodes."

You should try and hack into the Baltimore feed, then you can watch Spider-Man at 8AM. :P

As for the lack of featurettes, they probably couldn't fit all four parts and the various videos on the 2-disc sets even if they wanted to. Eight episodes is the max you can fit onto a DVD without extremely noticible compression issues, and even that is sometimes hard to do, hence why most sets only put 7 episodes per DVD max. Except for Pokémon, but those DVDs have such horrible video quality they're an example of what not to do.
