Well, now that I can FINALLY access the board today, I guess I'll do both shows this evening. We actually had some interesting programming, as Bugs and Daffy squeezed in an extra cartoon and Acme Hour aired 2 more WB's I didn't have.

Bugs and Daffy:
"Cat Feud" (What, AGAIN?)
"Fast Buck Duck"
"Tweety and Lovely"
"Robot Rabbit"
"Solid Tin Coyote"
"Porky's Spring Planting" (colorized)
"The Leghorn Blows at Midnight

Acme Hour:
"Out-Foxed" (MGM)
"Olive's Sweepstakes Ticket" (Fleischer Popeye, redrawn)
"Heir Bear" (MGM)
"I Wanna Play House" -ahhh! a cutesy little bear toon! scary!
"Good Little Monkeys" (MGM)-I won't touch this one. it's just WRONG, man!
"Country Mouse"

Bugs and Daffy hasn't been a real thrill this week, but I'm enjoying the Acme Hour, they've run lots of super-rare stuff.

"Cat Feud" (What, AGAIN?)

They always feel the need to overplay all these highly overrated Chuck Jones "classics" while some other great and better cartoons hardly get any airplay. As if we need a Chuck Jones show over a Friz Freleng or Robert McKimson show.

"Cat Feud" isn't even a very good Jones cartoon, it's the worst and strangest of the Pussyfoot series. It lacks the charm, depth, and continuity of the first three and makes me take back the times I wished Jones had continued making Hubie and Bertie or Three Bears cartoons... The first, "Feed The Kitty," was "heartwarming" and established how the two characters met, the other two show the progression of their relationship as housepets with all the little problems thay must face, such as temperamental homeowners and nasty cats. "Cat Feud" tries to redo the meeting up of the characters, something that could never live up to "Feed The Kitty," it's also the weakest visually, with overdone stylization and character designs that make some people believe Marc Anthony is really Hector from the Freleng cartoons("Kiss Me Cat" is the best looking IMO, by the way) It isn't a bad cartoon, but it isn't great.

I'd like for them to show some rarish color MMs again...
