IMPACT PREVIEW: KURT AND KAREN ANGLE CELEBRATE THEIR LOVE ON VALENTINE'S DAY
By Bill Banks

This Thursday night, TNA returns to SpikeTV for two hours of Total Nonstop Action for a special Valentine's Day edition of "iMPACT!" starting at 9pm ET.

After Sunday's "Against All Odds" Pay-Per-View, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle informed TNA management that he wants to hold a special Valentine's Day ceremony so he and his wife Karen Angle can renew their wedding vows! According to sources, Kurt plans to go all-out for the ceremony this Thursday night on SpikeTV.

In addition to the Angle lovefest, the wrestling world will witness the aftermath of Sunday's PPV, which saw Tomko cost Christian Cage his chance at the World Title. Will Tomko speak out on his actions? Will he rejoin the Angle Alliance after cheating Cage? How will "The Instant Classic" react to Tomko's final betrayal? Tune in and find out!

Plus, TNA Management Director Jim Cornette is hellbent on getting Samoa Joe's new contract finalized - and yet another attempt at a signing will take place on Thursday night! Cornette has warned both Matt Morgan and Kurt Angle to stay away so they don't disrupt the proceedings - or face the consequences. The question is, will Joe finally sign the new deal without interruption?

Plus, according to Joe and Cornette's agreement, Joe is now in line for an opportunity to get a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Will we find out more details on Joe's potential shot at the gold?

Also at the PPV, "The War Machine" Rhino made his return to TNA and promised he has something to say this Thursday night! What's on Rhino's mind? What are his plans now that he's back in TNA? Find out Thursday on SpikeTV!

Plus, will Booker T and Robert Roode continue their war? Will we find out more about Scott Steiner's new freak that debuted on Sunday? Plus, will it be a new era for the X Division after Lethal and the Machineguns beat Team 3D at the Pay-Per-View?

In addition, there will be a three-way bout this Thursday night featuring the stars of NASCAR. It will be Homicide of the LAX vs. Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machineguns vs. Jimmy Rave of Rock N' Rave Infection. NASCAR star Reed Sorenson will be in Sabin's corner, while Juan Pablo Montoya will be in Homicide's. Hermie Salder and Jimmy Spencer will be on commentary for the match.

Plus, "iMPACT!" will have news regarding our upcoming March "Destination X" Pay-Per-View event! All this and much more this Thursday night on SpikeTV!

I'm never a fan of a segment ending a wrestling show but the ending of the segment amused me a little bit.

I didn't get to watch most of Impact but what I saw was average.

ODB versus Kong a street fight that was mostly in the ring, weird.

Devon cannot possibly be 275 pounds or below, that's bs.

Hey a Rellik sighting.

As for the first hour I didn't get to watch it so I can only say that the second hour was average at best.

A true suckfest, to be sure.

All they really needed to do was have the weigh-ins before the show, then sub Johnny Devine for Ray. I don't think Devon was really 275 or under myself, and he didn't have time to make weight. Hebner screwed up by calling Ray "Bubba" not once but twice. Remember, Earl, you're not in WWE anymore.:p

So Rellik is now going to be TNA's answer to Boogeyman? At least the man is believable and can work a good match.

Back to Team 3D. They stifled Shark Boy's push awfully fast, didn't they? That's Russo's fault right along with 3D.

Jeremy Borash---maid of honor? Besides the William Regal hairdo, are they trying to tell us something about Jeremy, or couldn't they get another woman to fit into this scenario? Yuck!

Do they really know if they want to turn Scott Steiner heel? He beats Petey for the 2nd time in a week, then helps him up after as a sign of respect. It's so confusing.

Is Abyss giving up his gimmick? I smell a heel turn down the road, borne out of a guilt trip.

The less said about Kurt & Karen's renewal of wedding vows, the better. I know they're trying to duplicate the McMahon-Helmsley Error, but they overdid it with the accelerator here. And Kurt knows how the other story ended. This is one of the reasons why I want to just ditch TNA altogether.

So the Rock & Rave Infection couldn't get a NASCAR guy to be in their corner. What? Dale Jr. wasn't available?;) :p El lame-o!

I guess Christy won't be singing the national anthem @ Daytona on Sunday. Maybe that job's been reserved for Nickelback, anyway.:p ;)

I loved how for the contract signing, Cornette made a point for there to be no table in the ring. The longer this goes on, the more I might be able to be entertained by it.

No shock seeing Ray not make weight, this will get old quickly. Comparable to say the quickness that Curry Man and "Stone Cold" Sharkboy get old. ;)

So Abyss walks off leaving his mask behind...

Scott Steiner and his new freak... Rockakhan?

So Tomko is a "I won't do what you tell me" member of the Angle Alliance? Okay.

Even though it had a match with some good wrestlers in it, I hated the NASCAR segments. I suppose I'm playing into NASCAR stereotypes at the same time, but pairing racin' with wrasslin' to me is the ultimate in "this is a 'sport' for toothless hicks" and I hate seeing it.

The remarriage ceremony wasn't too bad, nice work on the priest, he was good character and I liked the element of him losing his glasses and then marrying Karen and A.J. I'll be interested to see next week whether they try to act like it is legal (which it would not be since Karen is already married) or if it will only be legal in A.J.'s head.

This being Toon Zone, somebody just has to say it....

That priest's name wasn't Velma Dinkley by any chance, was it? XD

No, not at all. In fact, he was the same guy who was at AJ's "house" a few weeks back. His name is Ernest Angel, and he's an old vet in the southeast indies, I believe. Jarrett probably knows him from somewhere and has him on speed dial.
