Bwahahaha.... way to set my priorities. Drew the last drawing for this portfolio minutes before I photocopied everything and mailed it in... today.

Anyway, I mostly reused everything from my first portfolio for this one. It's for an illustration program. Here are a few new things:

A bunch of people in the school library. I don't know who they are. I draw people without them knowing.

Still life that I did in grade 8. Four years ago, I think.

Perspective drawing. Freehand, no ruler!

Let me explain. The assignment was "select a photographic image. Using the photo itself, do something to make a new and interesting image." This is a picture of our school's former vice principal. Well- you can tell what kind of principal she was.

Questions? Comments? Praise? Flames? Eggs? I welcome all.

You've got some impressive sketching talent there... makes me want to dig out the ol' pad and pencil and start doodling again...

Absolutely wonderful!

I'm more of a cartoony person! I'm not good with still life and houses! I'd rather doodle!

I still think that they are really good!

That last one scared the you-know-what out of me the first few seconds I saw it. :p Anyway, all of these are excellent. Especially the still life with the shell (Man, those things are hard to draw!). I like your sketchy style - it looks like you were able to capture those difficult subjects (the shell, the house, the people) on paper with ease. :)

I wonder how many fans you'd retain on the boards, Nightflower, if you used your vice principal piece as your next avatar! :p
