Hi everyone!
I know this comes up once in a while, and it hasn't been around lately, so I thought I'd revive this area of speculation.
Since Batman Beyond is no longer in production, and both comics Batman Beyond and Superman Adventures will soon be no more, we will never officially know what happens to Superman's supporting cast. We know somewhat about Superman, but the fates of Lex, Lois, Kara, and many others will remain unknown.
What do each of you think happened to each of the Superman characters? Who do you think may be dead (most likely Perry and Ma and Pa Kent)? Of those who you think are alive, what do you think each is doing during BB times? Are any married and/or have kids? Are any altered drastically from the old days? What do you think happened?
I'll post my answers later so I don't bias any of your wonderful answers. Also, in light of "Legecy", "The Call" and some deep thinking, what I will post soon is drastically different than what I posted back on the old boards months ago. It should be interesting, I hope.
Have a clairvoyant day!

i've wondered about this also. i think the black costume he wears in The Call reflects the fact that someone REALLY close to him had died, similar to that "alternate universe" superman adventures episode where lois had died. i'm guessing it would either have to be lois or kara. his "parents" most likely died of natural causes, but lois and/or supergirl were probably killed by a member of superman's rogue gallery. jimmy's probably still alive, i guess he'd be just a little older than tim drake. i wonder, though, if superman still uses the clark kent alter ego or not? doubt he does....

It's hard to speculate exactly what happened, but I would venture to guess that Lex's fate came at the undoing of his own work, a fate that resulted in something that he did that came back to bite him, and not at the hands of Superman. It is unlikely a powerful figure like Lex would be given the privilege to die a natural death alone.

I've had my own ideas, although not many because I plan WAY in advance before putting just one together completely, but I don't think we would have learned much about Clark's and Bruce's casts in BB time. There's just too darn much past to cover. I'd say that branch of the stories are left for the hardcore fans' fanfics. ;)
But I really like Calhoun's idea for Lex. It sounds perfectly fitting for him. Ya know I was just watching Superman II on Encore this afternoon. :)
I like the overall atmosphere of Superman and his world to be bright (not Zeta bright, just "boyscout-ish") so if I were to add something to change Superman's costume (symbolic for his feelings of course) I wouldn't chose Kara getting killed or something. I'd do something lighter yet still dark and motivated, like the tragic death of Dan Turpin, my favorite Superman character of all time.
...just to constantly remind Clark that the war rages on and on, and the more with the motive to help people, the better.

Perhaps Kara and Nightwing got together--they would have made an awesome team professionally and personally!

I guess that Supes goes full time as Superman. Or says that Clark is like Dick Clark(who live to that time and still looks the same).
