There have been some animated models of characters from LA shows,so I guess anything is possible but at this point and time I believe it is unannounced. And for the record...I hope not.

I could kind of see an animated Zack & Cody, but the rest should definately stick to live action, unless they're doing 'Disney All-Stars to the Rescue', where their LA characters team up with animated characters to do an anti-drug message.
Or maybe an animated Disney Channel games ala Laugh-a-Lypics, where Zack, Cody, Raven, Hannah, etc, team up with Kim Possible, Jake Long, Kuzco, etc for sporting events.

I suppose it'd be an easy way to extend the life of those shows, since 'toons don't age, but....I really hope they don't get this idea. I prefer originality.

Well, they sure aren't animating Suite Life. According to a newspaper article I read today, it's getting a sequal series.

That would have to mean being overshadowed by all these LA shows,no thank you. We've seen what trading places on Disney shows is like.
Besides, the majority of these shows aren't even in production.

I don't see what the point would be.

Me nethier but at least AD:JL and KP would air again then. All those worlds would have to be consistent with each other somehow.

Jake Long and KP's worlds I can see intertwine.
For the rest, I'll agree with everyone and say no.
It COULD work but it would have to be total fan-fiction to do so.
I myself had an idea of bringing those worlds together back in 2004-2005, but I'll save it for The Story Board if I get time.
And I don't think an animated Hannah montana or suite Life could do becasue if you take a look at the cut scenes from both the Nintendo DS games: Hannah Montana and The Suite Life: Circle of Spies, the only ones that look good were the animated versions of Miley and Lilly. Everyone else needs a complete overhaul if they want to be animated again for any video game or cross-promotion product.

I have to say I don't see the point in doing this either. The thing about the teencoms on all the networks is that they're inherently tied to a generation, and get swept out when the teen (and his/her audience) grows up and is replaced with the latest model. If the actors involved are lucky, they can parlay that experience into a longer career as an actor, but if they're not, then they get to become yet another failed child actor on a VH1 special (or worse (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0237985/)).
There are also significant business drivers that will probably prevent this from happening, also. Doing an animated adaptation of a live-action star requires an agreement with the actor in question to use their likeness in animated form, which adds to the cost of the production and therefore sets the bar that much higher for success. The reason why Princess Giselle from Enchanted wasn't added to the Disney Princess line of toys is that Disney decided it wasn't worth it to have to license Amy Adams' likeness for the toys to keep making them forever. They don't have to pay anybody anything to pump out another Snow White or Princess Jasmine toy.
That being said, I have to wonder if those recent Pirates of the Caribbean toys that look like animated characters are really a experiment to see if the licensing revenues would support a PotC animated series. Those things are what keep a cartoon going, and many a decent cartoon has been scuttled because the licensing revenue stunk. By putting out the toys first, maybe they can see if Pirates fatigue has set in yet or not.

That is an astute assesment. Personally, I feel that it also has to do with the fact that you'll lose the appeal of these shows in animated form. After all, the reason people watch them is because they aren't cartoons. They feel that's juvenile. Plus, animated versions of live action shows that pretend to be animated just doesn't work. May I bring up the terrible "New 3 Stooges" cartoons?
