Firs off let me say - I knew Rick was gonna get shot! I knew it!

Anywho...this was one nail-biter episode. Would Tony give in? Would Bauer get to his wife and kids? Would Gaines get suspiscious? Man - this episode had it allm, and next week looks like it'll be even better. I can honestly say this was my favorite hour of the episode so far. Everything is falling apart, yet..it's coming togethor. Jack is losing it. No doubt!

And I'm wondering how Green is gonna handle this. She's obviously going to get there too late, and I wonder if that will hinder Jack anymore.

I am so glad that we have 10 more epuisodes in a row...becuase I don't think I can handle another 2 week break.

Oh, and who else thinks the doctor was killed?

Oooh! Glad to see other people are enjoying that show as much as I am!

I thought it was extremely suspensful towards the end- when Rick was looking for the car to steal, and then he snatched the gun... Whoo my heart was racing!

I agree- I'm glad there will be then more episodes in a row because that break really killed the show's suspense- I mean I kinda forgot about how excited I was about it (of course I remembered as soon as I say that 'All New 24' commercial).

There are a few more fans here who I hope chime in soon. I like being able to talk 24 with people. Ya gott alike how thorough Bauer is. You see how he duct taped that guy tot he seat after knocking him unconscious? He is very thorough in his work. One thing I can't get past is the smart writing in this series. Bauer is a smart character and we see that, alot! He does the things that are sometime sunexpected. Things that make you go: "Ah...that mnakes sense!" That why I love this series and I'm still hoping for a DVD release...

Actually, I don't think he's dead, which is ultimately going to be very bad for Palmer. The doctor thought Palmer was threatening him, and now it appears that an attempt on his life was made. From the doctor's perspective, it'll appear certain that Palmer tried to off him and he'll be sure to make that known. Palmer never should have contacted him.

This show is very suspensful! The "real-time" thing works very well.

Anyway...

Yeah, i figured something would happen to Rick. But for some reason, my dad thinks that Jack's wife is going to die. Dad's been good before, but i just don't see this one :rolleyes: . And i thought that the doctor was killed too, but DarkAngel raises an interesting point. But i think it's a given that at least it was an attempted assasination.

I'm really glad Fox decided to buy the whole season. This would have sucked to be the end :p .

If Fox didn't buy the whole series, next week's episode would have been our last.

I'm pretty optomistic that Jack will get his entire family out of this, They aren't really the target, but Jack is. And if they dioe, then Jack is going to see no reason for holding back. And it was nice to see Rick fully on the side of the angles this episode. It was weird seeing him side by side with Jack gunning down the opposition.

I'm also surprised that Teri didn't make note of the Caroll get, yet...but she probably didn't have time seeing as how she was being gunned down by the opposition.

about that doctor, i don't remember if the building was messed up but when Palmer was calling the doctor for the 2nd time, the doc let the answering maching picked and Palmer actually recorded a message. if the doc's room was not so badly messed up, they could probably find the tape and piece together that Palmer might have something to do with the fire.

so if I read the posts right, there will ten straight new episodes in the upcoming weeks which means that they would have aired 22 episodes, so that leaves 2 episodes. how long do you think we would have to wait until we see the last 2 episodes? I can't bear to think that we would have to wait another month before they show the finale. :(

It'll likely be pre-empted for only one week, for some April/May sweeps event. It won't be drastic, thankfully. Although having to wait near the end of the year will be worse!

And that's a good point about Palmer's tape. But f the bad guys got to him, then they could just destroy the tape. And there's still the disc! They seem to have forgotten about the disc this week...
