Did anyone happen to catch the Wall-E superbowl commercial with the vacuum cleaner?

I just about fell over laughing! He is proving to be a very cute little character! With the ads being this entertaining, I can't wait to see the movie!

Which if you DID miss (like me, curse you work!), fear not: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SpHDrNc-44U is the Woody and Buzz-less version of the commercial.

I'm super pumped for this movie, this 1 minute of animation was so incredibly fun, I can't wait for 120-ish minutes worth of it.

Edit: Buzz/Woody commentary spot is here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=KWhvE30jFCI)as well.
Edit: Edit: Also, a nicer version is at Wall-E's official site (http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/wall-e/)(under videos)

Caught the ad during the superbowl. The vacuum cleaner bit with Wall-E was great, and I loved seeing Buzz and Woody.

I have to say the Buzz/Woody Banter was hilarious especially how Woody was sort of "Mocking" Buzz.

Woody (To Buzz): I hear he saves the world, which is something you wanted to do at some point.

But the Vaccuum part was hilarious.. How to get a roach out of a vaccuum? Put it in reverse!:D

I think seriously though, Wall*E is going to put Cars and Ratatouille to shame, but will be about as good as The Incredibles. I mean if you haven't seen the Superbowl ad, it's a scream, and Wall*E is so cute and funny that you have to say to yourself.. Where can I get one of these cute little rascals?

Let's just face it.. the guys who came up with Wall*E were not wrong for doing this one.. that's a sure bet.

Wow, I can't wait to see this movie, just to experience watching a film with a silent character as the protagonist.

Dang. I guess I will have to catch that one on DVD or something, since I never saw it. The only time I turned on the Superbowl, I just saw the same Dunkin Donuts "Doin' Stuff is what I like to do" ad, and some generic car commercial where a car drives around while a Jimmy Durante song plays. I never had any luck with Superbowl commercials.

I just saw the commercial online and it looked pretty cool. I liked how Woody and Buzz were watching the Superbowl and talking about Wall-E at the same time. It was funny how Woody was kind of making fun of Buzz with those comments. I don't know what the movie is about, but I'm thinking about going to see it when it comes out. The last Pixar movie that I saw in theaters was Toy Story 2. I didn't see Finding Nemo or The Incredibles until they premiered on television. Pixar has made some excellent movies from what I hear and I should probably check out more of their films. Besides that Wall-E looked sweet at how he was enjoying the vacuum cleaner and then helping out the roach. It looks like it could be a fun movie too by the looks of the ad.

Yeah I saw the commercial and thought it looked really good. I can't wait to see it in June. Hope it is as good as the preview. Off topic: When is Toy
Story 3 coming out.

I think that Toy Story 3 comes out sometime around 2010. I hope that helps.

That's where I saw it. I only saw the Buzz free one when I posted. Guess either you edited the others in, or I wasn't paying too much attenetion.

Apparently Tom Hanks is not into doing Superbowl ads.

But Tim Allen is...

Curiouser and Curiouser.

Yeah, I caught it. It was quite good.

For anyone interested, this is the guy who animated the Wall-E segments:

What a cute little guy! I can't wait for this movie. I don't care if it barely has any dialogue, small stuff like that doesn't matter, as long as we can still understand what's going on. And from what I've seen, WALL-E seems to be quite an expressive character, so that most likely won't be a problem.

I think that shows how talented Pixar is. That they can make a robot be alone and still be really entertaining. I think people are going to love Wall-E, they did a great job designing the way he looks and even the way he moves and interacts with things.

It's about a week old but, has anyone seen this latest trailer? The new footage towards the end is awesome and again is just shows how good this movie is going to be. My favorite part is at the very end with the shopping carts.

A trailer for Wall*E ran before Horton at the movies this past weekend. And it rocked soooooooo hard. I'm extremely psyched for this movie now, and I was rather doubtful about it before.

Really? Your were doubtful? But Pixar has such a strong track record, I didn't doubt them for a second. The animation looks incredible, and I feel like Pixar always has stories with a simple message, yet are extremely creative and engaging. Wall-E just looks so sad and lovable.

I will never doubt anything Pixar makes. Every film they've made has been funny and full of charm.

Eh, I'm not a big Pixar fanboy like most everyone else, to be honest. There are two films by them that I flat-out love (Toy Story, The Incredibles), while I'm kind of ambivalent about the rest. Toy Story 2 is overrated but good, Monster's Inc and Bug's Life are decent, Cars is wholly mediocre, and Finding Nemo is a legitimately great film... but my baby cousin forced me to watch it at least 5 times in one day in a row, while alternating with 'Elmo's Christmas'. That tends to damper one's enthusiasm a bit. I haven't seen Ratatouille yet, but WALL-E looks awesome, and their next animated film Up looks intriguing.

Doctor Nick

I thought Monster's Inc. was extremely creative, maybe there most creative story behind Toy Story. The combination of a great story and incredible animation seems to be a great formula that's been working for them.
