Wondering why I didn`t put up the weekend box office info yesterdayÉ Becuase it was a holiday weekend, and the final full resultd wouldn`t have been tallied until today. Although I gotta give proprs to Clown Prince for putting up a post for the <a href="http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20228">three day weekend estimates</a>. Here's full weekend rundown. Enjoy!

1. John Q. - $24,100,000 ($24.1 mill)
2. Crossroads - $17,000,000 ($17 mill)
3. Return to Neverland - $16,100,000 ($16.1 mill)
4. Big Fat Liar - $11,900,000 ($24.5 mill)
5. Collateral Damage - $9,900,000 ($29.4 mill)
6. A Beautiful Mind - $9,700,000 mill ($126 mill)
7. Hart's War - $9,000,000 ($9 mill)
8. Black Hawk Down - $7,400,000 ($96.6 mill)
9. Super Troopers - $7,300,000 ($7.3 mill)
10. Snow Dogs - ($7,000,000 ($68.4 mill)

Not surprising to see Denzel on top of the heap, but I'm surprised to see Peter Pan 2 doing so good. $16. 1 mill is above what anyone guessed. I was a bit surprised at Hart's War poor showing. I thought that movie would gross an easy $15 mill.

...and down falls Collateral Damage...

Hey no problem. :) Whenever you don't put it up, I'll more than glady do it for you.

I'm glad to see Denzel Washington having a good streak going. Remember the Titans was good, so was Training Day, and John Q wasn't that bad either. If not for him, Britney Spears would have been number 1. Though I must confess that I'll will probably see Crossroads when it comes out on DVD.

As for Hart's War, just like in my other post, I could care less for MGM with what they're doing to New Line and AP3, though I do feel for Bruce Willis cause he's was one of my favorites.

Peter Pan is a well known character so it's no surprise that it did as well as it did for a Disney sequel. It still surprises me to see that with all of their sequels that are out and coming out, they chose Peter Pan to be in the theater.

Slim Pick'ns these days at the theater, don't you think? Well, just wait until this Summer and Fall!

-Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones
-Star Trek: Nemesis
-Men In Black 2

...and that's just the top of the iceberg! :)
