The latest word from Anime News Network, fresh from the Viz panel at Katsucon 2002, is that the children's anime Tottoko Hamutaro will be airing on Cartoon Network at an unknown point in the future.
The anime is about a cute hamster named Hamutaro and his ten animal friends. When their masters are away (Hamutaro's is Ryoko. No, not THAT Ryoko.), they slip out a secret door in their cage and meet together at a giant oak tree to go on adventures.
We at TZ don't know when it will air, but the answers should be revealed very soon as Cartoon Network finishes laying out their plans for the next year. Stay tuned!
