Yes, apparently that's a real motel (http://www.sjsu.edu/faculty/wooda/motelcolorado.html).

I would leave my children in the care of that cat and mouse (if I had children, that is). I remember how well they took care of that little baby in cartoons like Tot Watchers.
I'd even stay at Bugs' motel!

Also, a ancient fast-food named "La patate de l'Ouest" was starring a Road Runner caricature.

Hey, so long as it's a real kid, and not a midget bank robber, and Bugs doesn't try to teach them American history or mention anything about being run over by a streetcar, I don't see what the problem is. Besides, the kids would probably love the motel's continental breakfast area, where you get to whack a coffee-drinking mountain lion over the head with a mallet repeatedly, unless he's doing it to himself. ;)

There used to be a fish market in Avalon, NJ (a family vacation spot of ours for years) called Sylvester's (after the name of the owner). The sign had Sylvester and Sylvester Jr., and I was very little then, but I remember coloring in the pictures of Sylvester on the takeout menu. It had been a landmark for years. Story goes that some WB executive was in town once and issued a demand to remove the unlicensed character from their sign. They did, and last time I saw it the sign had a fish on it instead of the character.

In 1994, I stayed at the Road Runner Motel in Edmonton, Alberta. The sign featured a large picture of the bird, but the folks who ran the place knew nothing about Looney Tunes -- and were clueless about which animal kept raiding their garbage. ;)

I once saw a hotel entitled, "The Unmentionables." I wonder where that came from.

A car lot around here had signs with Looney Tunes characters on it. One of them had Wile E. Coyote blowing up the Road Runner saying "Bang-Out Prices!", the other had Tweety on top Sylvester saying "We 'Tweet You Wight!" Suspiciously, both signs are down...

Once I remember there was a drug store someplace that had Speedy and Taz on the sign.

I know of a surf shop near where I live named Big Pecker's that had Foghorn Leghorn as its mascot. Whether they changed their corporate philosophy or WB legal got wise, I don't know.

In a small town that I live near, there is a bar called Popeye's Pub. I don't know if it still exists anymore.

There's also used to be two bars around here, one that's still around called "Odie's" with a picture of the Garfield character filling up a mug with beer, and the "Shark Shack", which used to have pictures of Taz and Tweety and Sylvester. The "Shark Shack" now has a picture of a shark on their sign.
